The young people can live by any means. They are physically fit, so they are able to work.

Through my experiences and observations in Korea I would say something.

There are two big categories of the poor people in Korea.

韩国的穷人分两类。

First, the poor who are born as poor.

首先一种，是生来就是穷人。

Second, the poor who are not born as poor but later become poor. especially, house poor, car poor etc..

第二类不是生来贫穷，而是后来（在生活的重压下）变得贫穷。比如缺少房屋、没有汽车等等。

The most of poor people in Korea do not want to take any responsibility on this poor situation. They rather put this to others. other people or government or north Korea or Vietnam, or whatever,
Those people, that why, are usually angry and not satisfied at all. So, they usually do something bad. Criminals, like scam, fraud, murders, violence etc..

在韩国，大多数穷人不愿对这种贫困的状况承担任何责任。他们宁愿把这件事归咎于他人，比如政府，朝鲜，越南，或者别的什么。这就是为什么他们通常都一副很愤怒的样子，对各种东西都不满意。所以他们通常选择做成为一个罪犯去做坏事，如欺诈、诓骗、谋杀、诉诸暴力等等。

Yes, what I am very sure is that weak people do not mean that they are poor. Most of Poor people are never good. Especially in Korea yes.

They are more greedy and searching for lust. They never try to learn new things. They never try to work harder. They never try to know themselves. Although most of problems you get are caused by yourself. This is true.

Well, the life as poor in Korea is not so different from the poor in other countries. But, they in Korea are more in extreme anger and they think that their poverty comes from you.
My advice.

If you are going to live in Korea, you rather watch out such poor people including house poor, car poor, etc.. who usually have poker face and boast themselves as rich.

If you’re poor, you’re likely to be working hard just to survive. You will be working with poor labor conditions with not much prospect for improvement. You probably didn’t get a good educational degree and that’s why you’re still poor. You’re labeled as stupid if you don’t have a good degree.

The society does not see you as a victim but rather they will see you as dirty, stupid and a loser. They will tell you that you didn’t work hard enough. You will be stigmatized. You are ‘untouchable’. While in fact, you have worked your ass off. The system is partly to blame. Unfortunately, Koreans as a whole are not very nice to the unfortunate.
