I believe that women have a right to their own bodies. I think that mom shaming is abhorrent. How dare one judge another parent for how they raise their child. I feel that body shaming of any form at all is petty as fuck. It's not your job to dictate someone's life and what they do with it. Expressing valid feelings should not be frowned upon. Who are you to call someone highly sensitive or look down upon them for having social anxiety, much less depression? There is also the trend of having mental illness. Please don't do that
Basing someone off how attractive vs. unattractive they are is super shallow.
Making fun of someone who is disabled speaks volumes about the type of person you are.
Regardless if someone got plastic surgery or not, they feel better about themselves.
Don't resort to putting someone down or insulting them in the event that you don't agree with their opinion or even just arguing. There are so many effective ways when it comes to handling a situation. Just because someone identifies as an addict or alcoholic does not mean they are less deserving of life. Many are also ignorant as to why they can't just stop using at the drop of a hat for their loved ones. It doesn't mean that just because they can't kick a habit right away, they love their family, friends, or child any less.

If someone identifies as x, y, z have some respect and refer to their preferred pronouns. Stop commenting on someone's child and stating how ugly they are. That is literally an innocent baby you're bullying. I see so much hate on any and all social platforms. I don't get why it matters so much why this individual got famous for making faces. It shows a lot of jealously and envy. Look, I get it, talented dancers, singers, or writers are severely underrated when it comes to society. At the same time, unknown Tiktoker who rose to fame for completely unfathomable reasons, are still going to be popular at the end of the day.
I dislike that if you have a learning disability, you are automatically viewed as limited. I've had psych s. I've had tests administered, and I've observed that a psychologist who doesn't even know me beyond administering a clinical, highly biased uation, write scathing paragraphs about me that completely undermine my entire functioning capacity as a whole. You can have a degree or special background, at the end of the day though, I know who I am/ I can identify my weaknesses and strengths. I refuse to allow an IQ test define my life. Don't look down on those who dress differently, have a certain aesthetic, whatever- there is so many stereotypes out there that should not even exist.

Alex Mann, Historian (2017-present)
I HATE celebrities that think they matter. Celebrities DO NOT MATTER. Seriously is every famous actor or singer disappeared we would be fine. We would just find new good -looking people and tell them what to do. If every gas station attendant disappeared the economy would seriously suffer for weeks and people struggle to get gas as transportation and deliveries grind to a halt. Hollywood actors are self-absorbed, self-centered, narcissistic, and elitist. They have a rampant sexual abuse problem and even worse they hide it.
How they think they have ANY moral superiority and ANY right to tell us how to live is beyond me.
They live like kings and consume more stuff than most countries but according to them old Tom and his 2006 F-150 are the problem. They want us all to live in small shacks and take the bus to mitigate their over consumption. If we all lived like them the planet would be destroyed in a week yet THEY judge and speak down to us?
Social media is one of the worst things to happen to mankind ever and it should be banned. Inequality is part of life and it is necessary for innovation. Say you sell chairs- and the other guy you work with sells 5 times as many chairs as you. There is then inequality between you and this other chair salesmen. It then is in your best interest to learn what this other salesperson is doing and copy them. Thus you become better at your job and everyone innovates further. Our brains are biologically hardwired for this. We look for people doing better than us and see what they are doing so we can improve out situation. This used to mean keeping an eye on the neighbor or co-workers.

Today though we have social media. Now the inequality is on full blast as we see all this rich and fabulous nobody live perfect lives. Every time we see that influencers Paris pictures our brains are comparing us to them. It is terribly bad for the brain to do this. Social media does not work well with the human mind. I think we can lix a lot of cases of depression and low self-esteem to social media. The entire history of mankind is war, conquest, destruction, subjugation, and violence. The strong do what they will and the weak suffer what they must. African tribes would violently destroy and conquer each other all the time. The Aztecs, Mayans, and Incas were all incredibly violent and warlike often engaging in naked acts of conquest.
Europeans were the most technologically advanced and strongest civilization on earth during the age of Imperialism. Europeans only did what any other civilization would have done. If it were the Mali Empire or Aztec Empire that was the strongest civilization on earth they would have done the same thing as the Europeans. I don’t think we should feel bad for doing what every other culture has done and will do. I don’t think we should repeat it and I think peace and liberty are always preferable to war and slavery. We can admit these things were not very nice but why be guilty?
Alexander the Great was overrated. He was a brilliant commander to be sure. But he was also an over confident hot head that frequently put himself into bad positions and needlessly got his men killed. He started he reign on 3rd base after his father built the strongest army on earth and conquered all of Greece. Any halfway competent general in Alexanders shoes could have done the same exact thing. In fact a calmer general could have done better.

I do not feel particularly bad for homeless people. I know a lot of people that work with Homeless people and where I live we have massive homeless shelters. They will all tell you that 90% of homeless people want to be homeless. There is help out there for homeless people but they don’t want it. They enjoy the life of being homeless and totally free. Moreover, I don’t like the idea that people can be unlucky. Sure- I will say sometimes bad things happen to good people but 99% of the time it was bad choices that lead you to where you are.
Broke? Why don’t you have a job? Got fired? What did you do? Addiction issues? Everyone told you what would happen if you tried that? Wife leave you? Did you not work hard enough on your marriage? Get lung cancer? What did you think would happen when you smoke for 20 years? I do feel bad for the rare circumstances where people just ger relentlessly ravaged by life. But I think when most people are down on their luck. it is self imposed. Jimmy Kimmel is terribly unfunny. He is one of the worst comics I have ever seen preform and his show is unbearable. How he is famous at all I have no idea

Gary Stark, former Performance Poet at Self-Employment (2007-2017)
Feminism in the west. Apparently, according to many querns, we no longer need feminism in the west as all the battles have been won and it's men that are now being oppressed by a group of men-hating 4th wave feminists. My heart bleeds for these poor downtrodden men, struggling manfully against this tidal wave of female domination. Let's look at these major feminist victories that have subjugated the male 50% of the population.
a) Equal pay-apparently achieved, despite all the data showing that the male-female wage gap has remained virtually unchanged over the past 25 years. For example, in USA, in 1996, women earned 73.8% of what a man did, in 2015 that had risen to only 79.6%. (Ref: National Committee on Pay Equity). The recent anomalies shown in the employment practices of the BBC, show that even at a higher level, sexism is still rampant and on many businesses where wages are negotiated individually, all the evidence shows that men earn more-in many cases substantially more.
b) In the FTSE top 250 companies only 6.4% of executive directorships (i.e. actually hands-on) are held by women. Read that again ONLY 6.4%. (Ref Exeter Business School) Are we really to be believe that equality has been achieved whereby 93.6% of the major company board directors are male? Are we to believe that this demonstrates that feminism in the west is no longer needed?
c) Maternity/Paternity leave and child raising. Given new laws allowing paternity leave as well as maternity leave, you might be mistaken in thinking that there is now a greater equality in sharing child-rearing. In fact, in 2018 the Department for Business report suggested that shared leave could be as low as 2%. (Yes, I said 2%). Probably all these poor men are so oppressed now by their wives and partners that they are told to stay at work and are forbidden from helping raise their own kids.

d) Housework. again the amount of sharing of housework performed by men has barely risen since 1980 (office of national statistics)-working women do 60% more housework than their working partners. Poor men! Forced by rampant women to sit watching the TV with a beer in their hand, while these fully liberated women enjoy the simple pleasures after a hard day's work-you know-cooking, cleaning the oven, doing the washing, mopping the floors. Ah, if only those pesky women would allow their men to share these delights! Equality!!! Get real guys and get off your fat bottoms. (please note-I'm not saying I was any better when my wife was alive, but I never suggested either that I was being oppressed.)

e) Abuse, rape, controlling behaviors and other similar atrocities. If men are so subjugated, I would expect there to be dozens of hostels for male victims of violent women. Now, I don't doubt that some men are the victims of violent women, but according to the Independent 1.3 million women suffered violent abuse by their male partner last year and 25% of women will experience domestic violence in their lifetime and 2 women die EVERY WEEK at the hands of male partners. These are truly shocking figures. If women are truly now the dominant gender, then they're not doing a very good job of it. Boys-read these figures and then tell me women have achieved equality!
f) Rape-don't get me started! This is from the Government Crime survey.
Five out of six victims did not go to the police, according to the survey, largely because they fear a lengthy and intrusive investigation, followed by the ordeal of giving evidence in court. But police, prosecutors and campaigners say that a strict new interpretation of the rules on disclosure, prompted by a review published last summer, has made that situation much worse. Complainants now face a complete loss of privacy, having to hand over their mobile phones, tablets and even work computers, containing a mass of personal material such as text messages, photographs and even medical records. Few people realize that even dexed material will be examined, including pictures that may have been taken while the victim was in an abusive relationship. Some of this material is bound to result in challenging cross-examination in court, even though it might have nothing to do with the alleged assault at the heart of the case.
Astonishingly, there is no equivalent obligation on defendants to hand over phones and computers in a rape investigation.
Now of course there have been some false accusations made by women against men over the years and these have caused immense damage to the lives of these innocent men. But please look at the facts-The Washington Post report showed only 1% of rape cases eventually resulted in successful prosecutions and very few were because of malicious false accusations by women, but much more by women's reluctance to report the crime. So these poor oppressed men are, well basically getting away with it. Another striking case of feminism being unnecessary. I could probably write a book on this topic but I have some other controversial opinions I want to get off my chest.

2) Free speech.
My controversial view? Free speech is NOT absolute and should be restricted under certain conditions.
a) We cannot allow free speech to groups whose very first action if they got into power would be to ban free speech.
If the Nazis propaganda had been banned in the 1930s, then their rise to power would have been seriously curtailed, indeed it probably would never have happened. Their hatred of the jews would have remained an underground movement instead of becoming the powerful aberration as happened.
b) It has been expanded to allow vicious criticism of individuals and groups such as religious, racial, and sexual minorities. Not in a political or public interest sense or to further reasonable discussion, but just simple hatred and viciousness. I can find no justification in allowing free speech for comments which are just spiteful and potentially threatening to individuals or targeted groups.

c) Julian Assange-I accept that to some groups he is a hero for releasing those e-mails and I understand why. they feel that way. On the face of it, letting people know what the deep state is up to, can be a good thing. But there is a negative side too. It means that governments are less likely to speak honestly to each other if off-hand comments are going to be always repeated on the web. And I guess, it does re-raise the age-old question of ?°who polices the police? But we have to have some trust in our elected officials-they're not all crooks and villains- and without that trust, they cannot operate. Secondly, these e-mails included the names of 14 jews living anonymously in Iraq-they have never been heard of since, presumed killed as a direct result of these leaked e-mails. Free speech can have its disadvantages too.
3) Political correctness has been a force for good. Very unpopular viewpoint I know, but personally I think it's a good thing we don't casually use words like yid nigger paki?± ?°poof, ?°wog?± etc in everyday speech.
These words are usually thrown around by people who've never been racially abused or attacked for their sexuality. But those of us who have been on the receiving end, know just how much they can hurt and lower our self-esteem. Above all, these words set a tone, a background that allows more severe attacks to become acceptable-just look at the increase in verbal and physical violence reported against immigrants in the UK since Brexit. The last time they become the norm and become permitted without question resulted in the rise of the nazis and fascism in the 1930s.
Yes, sometimes it can go too far, sometimes people are too easily offended, but as long as these words and the attitudes behind them can still sting, can still be used to demean groups. it's also ok, then political correctness should have a valued place in our world. It makes the world safer for minorities!
