Yes, it is partly true that Asians see white people as more beautiful. In most Asian countries, we have darker hair and darker eyes. In Europe, they have more unique features like blonde hair and blue eyes, which may allure many Asians. It is probably the same way European people see Asians. They see them as exotic people.

I know that this is a sensitive issue, but there is clearly some Western influence going on. Of course no amount of surgery would make them look White. The point is that they end up getting surgeries that are more common in Caucasian people. They still look Asian of course! But there is some level of influence.
I am also not just talking about doing surgery to remove monolids. There are also surgeries happening to make noses more pointy and get higher bridged nose along with getting double eye lids. K-POP is also influenced by Western media. The surgeries they do is not just to look like a good looking Asian. They go above and beyond to change their faces to meet standards in other countries as well. They also have surgeries to make their faces seem more small and narrow, again features that are more commonly found in Caucasian people. They look Asian because they are Asian and no amount of surgery can change that, but there are Western influences.

西方的力量在4-5个世纪以来一直占主导地位，所以它极大地改变了中国年轻一代的审美标准。或者他们中的一些人可能只是认为另一边的草总是更绿。
老一辈的人，比如说我妈妈，从来不认为西方人更好看，事实上，她不喜欢他们的样子。
至于我自己，我不喜欢西方的时尚和化妆。而最让我印象深刻的是东方人的脸。但是，有不少西方的迷人面孔让我无法抗拒。
