I think Call of Duty still generally beats it but Candy Crush is a very stable 1b+ per year while other titles go up and down.

Depend on who you asked.
More money mean they can invest back into the game and more, this is also one of the reason we get cool concert on the 1st anniversary.
More money mean the company is gonna have more games of similar quality. Mihoyo do have a good track record of making games that is better than the last.
More money mean they don't have to listen to the playerbase, and can take a hit like the review bomb they got. It allow them to make mistake and lost a portion of the playerbase, if they feel like it.
More money mean that they can make the game however they like, without caring too much about the playerbase. No endgame? Well Mihoyo don't want endgame in genshin, they want to keep it casual, and they can do it without the risk.
To me though, meh, as long as they keep adding good content, I will keep playing.
