Absolutely wonderful. I really enjoyed it and wish I'm with you on that day. I don't really like to go to these kinds of places but I'd like to see it. So thanks for sharing Alex. A little tips: the reason why it's called jiujie is because it has the same pronouciation as jiujie which means alcohol street in English. But as you can see it's increasingly becoming a bars and pubs area. This area is still expanding and will be fully merged with Guanyinqiao area. Some interesting new projects are under construction. It will be more fun in the future. Of course there're some other bars and pubs areas in CQ like Jiaochangkou etc. but Jiujie is the biggest cluster so far.

Keep in mind that there is more than one mega city like this in China. Most Vlogger wants sell something or present nice experience to gain more views. When companies do it, it's called advertising. When government do it, it's called propaganda. but I suspect this kind of logical analysis is too difficult for you.

Wow, don't know where to start! I had no clue the Chinese were into Halloween but the youth have embraced the Gothic thing to a new level. There's something to please every age group. It's great to see the little ones enjoy it. Don't want to sound like a middle aged perv but there sure are some pretty 20 something ladies. Another thing are the singers and musicians. Like everything else in China, there are very good. I recall listening to a little band live in I think it was Dali (or Lijiang). Playing a couple of Led Zeppelin tracks and the guitarist was honestly as good as any I had ever heard. A 24 hr do it youself brewery/bar? That's novel
