It took the government 30 years to build an entire industry chain from scratch for crayfish (an exotic species).
The total output value of China's crayfish industry in 2020 is about 344.846 billion RMB.
（It fell 15.07% year-on-year because of the impact of the virus on the consumer market）
Getting rid of poverty is a ongoing project that cannot be achieved overnight.

I always find it so strange that Australia has yabbies however they were never really really popular here and not widely farmed at all. Otherwise i believe Australian yabbies will definitely take off locally as well if they were more marketed expecially with the way Chinese people prepare them! Tho they are so expensive here so we can't eat them as often as we like :( If only our Yabbies are as accessable as the XiaoLongXia are in China
我总是觉得很奇怪，澳大利亚有小龙虾，但它们在这里从来没有真正成为流行食物，也没有被广泛养殖过。另外如果他们能以中国人制作小龙虾的方式进行市场推广的话，我相信澳大利亚的小龙虾一定会在当地流行起来。这里的小龙虾很贵，所以我们不能尽情地吃小龙虾：（如果我们的小龙虾像中国的小龙虾一样平价亲民就好了。）
I always find it so strange that Australia has yabbies however they were never really really popular here and not widely farmed at all. Otherwise i believe Australian yabbies will definitely take off locally as well if they were more marketed expecially with the way Chinese people prepare them! Tho they are so expensive here so we can't eat them as often as we like :( If only our Yabbies are as accessable as the XiaoLongXia are in China
