I think I would even remove the blue wedge, since it was chosen to represent Slovakia and Czech Republic simply never got around to choose a new flag after the breakup.

I guess it would be better to say powerful “relative to the world”. For example, China had about 80 million people and a massive economy during Medi times. Britain had the largest navy and empire during the world in the 1800s. Egypt was probably the most powerful civilization during 2,800 B.C.

I like versions of the Spanish and Portuguese flag without the coats of arms on them, so I’m partial to the design with the three Spanish stripes and the vertical green Portuguese rectangle just without coat of arms.
I also like versions where the Spanish part has the colours of the Republican Spanish flag ;)

I don't even want to think about this. Portugal being forced to join Spain would be a nightmare. I hope most of us would agree it wouldn't happen without a fight.
