This was the same project which was taken from Maharashtra and given to Gujarat by Shreemaanji Modi. My guess is the third (and in fact the critical party) the European Chip maker, which is to give the technology (Both Foxconn and vedanta were providing capital, and now only Vedanta would, which it still can afford to, without Fox Conn) might have some reservation with taiwan connections. Let us wait and see what is happening. Yes Government had obxted, since the Euro company was not ready to pick up stake (which would have displayed his sincerity in developing the facility).
