Most likely the company who ordered the wheels is the middle man and not the legitimate purchaser.Better still, let India order from the US, Japan or Korea. They probably will import from China and re-export to India. At least China won't be cheated. Can't say the same for those dealing directly with India.

It's really unfortunate because India actually do have a lot of unrealised potential. My company pulled out of India 2 years ago.. it was a harrowing experience, one that our management don't want to repeat ever again.Over 30% of investors who invested in the last 7 years pulled out from India. The rest are actually Indian companies with capital brought out from India to Mauritius and reinvested back in India, gaining special privileges. So, majority of FDI are actually Indian companies, not foreign.
