What are the advantages of living in UK over living in India? If not then why?
The advantages of living in the UK compared to living in India are that you do not experience the anger, stress, feeling of injustice, unpleasantness, frustration, etc. of the following that you experience when living in India:

Is the UK a good place to live?
As a British Citizen born and raised who emigrated to Canada age 24 I feel qualified to answer this. Kinda the opposite to the previous answer.
Obviously it depends where you live. so it really depends on the area you live in and the hand you’re dealt/what you do with the hand you’re dealt.
To generalize I would say that they are both fantastic places to live. Postive points about the UK are:
being surrounded by the arts in all major cities. Movies, music, theatre, galleries - the UK is a major hub and influencer on the world stage for all these things.
British humour is the best in the entire world. Multi-layered, self-depreciating, witty and creative. No one does it like the UK in the entire world.
英国是个适合居住的好地方吗？
作为一个在24岁时移民到加拿大的英国公民，我觉得我有资格回答这个问题，不过和之前的答案有点相反。

UK history and architecture is all around you and you can never be bored if you’re into ‘older stuff’.
UK major cities are super multicultural and diverse. Immigration has been a strong bedrock of major cities for decades and lots of well established communities are well ingrained into society.
Food. If you’re into food from all over the world then the UK (London especially) is your heaven.
employment is good and lots of well-paid work around for skilled people and grads.
Cheap as chips travel all over Europe. Flights for ￡20 to Amsterdam, Stockholm, Berlin? No problem. You’re at the central hub of European travel and it’s easy to get anywhere from London.
Now some bad things about the UK:

the weather is all over the place. Two weeks of rain in August? It’s not that it’s always bad, it’s just that it’s unpredictable meaning it’s hard to vacation in the UK itself.
We’re a nation of negative people. There’s no ‘American dream’ buzz like you get in North America and you’ll find people want to shoot you down a bit. Gets worse in suburbia and rural areas as opposed to city centres.
I guess everywhere has this but, putting aside the 3/4 major UK cities, most other areas are pretty anti-immigration and pro-Brexit. There’s a sense of nationalism in the air (much like the US) and politics is divided. It can all feel a bit unnerving.
If your in the south east, especially around London, life is expensive. Housing, gas, commuting costs can be ridiculous. Up north or further away from London then you’re alright, although pay will be slightly lower generally speaking.
All in all I prefer living in Vancouver, Canada. The only things I miss are British humour and sarcasm as a part of everyday life and being able to travel to new cultures within 2 hours for less than most train tickets cost. Here I’m so far from any kind of place I’d want to go to that feels like a different culture and if I did want to get there it costs $1000s rather than $50. I also miss meeting friends ‘down the pub’ and being able to see any bands I want whenever I want, however, I love my life here in Canada and won’t be going anywhere anytime soon!

Definitely doesn't feel like home !
..Now there are wide range of difference and similarities and hence advantages and disadvantages:
Weather : It rains almost around the year and temperature is relatively colder. However it is definitely less than Cherapunji and warmer than Laddakh
So experience depends on your preference and your base location in India.
Traffic : Like every big cities of the world the bigger cities of UK have similar traffic challenges and it's tough to drive and park within the city. However the countryside and smaller towns are well off in this regard. The main diffrenciator when comparing to India is that people are way more disciplined while driving and respect the traffic laws. The icing on the cake is good public transport system, Train, Tram, Tubes, Buses and taxis are well operated and connected through out the UK.
So one will have a better experience when comparing with India.
对于一个印度人来说，在英国生活是什么感觉？
在英国绝对没有家的感觉!
现在有广泛的差异和相似之处，因此有优势和劣势:

Pollution :
There is minimal or zero visible pollution from dust. The motor vehicle are not that polluting because of better regulation and factories are outside the city plus considering the number of vehicles is so less when compared to India, UK has much less air pollution. Water pollution is not a problem and relatively all public water supplied through utility companies are potable ( people often use filters).Sound pollution is not a problem (unless you planning to live in city centre) as obviously regulation and common decenceny does not allow residents to use loudspeaker and yes people don't blast horns while driving .
So you will have a better experience if you live in a big polluted city in India but then again if you are from a non polluted part of India its not major differentiator !

There is minimal or zero visible pollution from dust. Culture:
Now this is the part that some might totally hate it or love it , it depends on rather personal taste. As it's anybody's guess you won't have same humane touch that India or Indian family system provides. People are distant and restrict themselves to their own business which has its own plus and minus.
For me personally I always miss home, family and friends!

Cost of living :
It's relatively expensive and cost of living is higher and if you remove Nordic countries from the list perhaps it's the most expensive place to live in entire Europe. But then if you are earning well, you might be able to save good in Indian rupees terms however if you planning totally cut off and settle down here this gets negated due to higher cost of living in total.
So in this aspect India scores better as you will have better standard of living at low cost plus will be backed and served by huge service industry which makes the overall lifestyle much more comfortable in India ( I am talking about Maids , Drivers , security guards etc). Probably Indians don't realize that they are living a kings life on a middle class income.

Racism :
Due to your colour of your skin and ascent you are likely to face small amount of discomfort and discrimination and obviously not always welcomed. Though this won't be case with educated and professional people's but then again there are idiots everywhere and you will forever be an Indian first and UK resident next. Some idiots still has that colonial attitude even though today their biggest employer is Indian and some of the most richest people in UK are Indians. You might also get in situation where people might consider you as Pakistani, Bangladeshi or Arab. But then situation is not that Bad like some other part of the world.
My advise never forget where you are from, take pride in being Indian. Showcase by your conduct that Indians are one of the most lovely, friendly, peacefully and polite people's. Respect and learn local culture and do your best not hurt anyone intionally or unitententionally. People are bit too formal here by Indian standards and so be agile and adapt to it without losing your own cultural identity.

Due to your colour of your skin and ascent you are likely to face small amount of discomfort and discrimination and obviously not always welcomed. Though this won't be case with educated and professional people's but then again there are idiots everywhere and you will forever be an Indian first and UK resident next. Some idiots still has that colonial attitude even though today their biggest employer is Indian and some of the most richest people in UK are Indians. You might also get in situation where people might consider you as Pakistani, Bangladeshi or Arab. But then situation is not that Bad like some other part of the world.
My advise never forget where you are from, take pride in being Indian. Showcase by your conduct that Indians are one of the most lovely, friendly, peacefully and polite people's. Respect and learn local culture and do your best not hurt anyone intionally or unitententionally. People are bit too formal here by Indian standards and so be agile and adapt to it without losing your own cultural identity.

Why is it that Indians come to the UK and settle when they are not welcomed? Why don't they settle in India? Why are you here in the UK when you are not certainly welcomed?
Well, Indians were settled in their own country until when the greedy britishers invaded India in the name of East India Company trade and cunningly took control over the country by Divide and Rule policy, ruled India for 200 years, plundered the wealth of the nation and took off with all the loot back to UK, leaving the once uber rich nation divided into a poor India and Pakistan in shabbles.
Well, the Britishers were'nt welcome in India either but dint they settle here for 200 years exploiting the wealth and abusing the locals?
So, now its payback time, the Indians are going back to UK to claim back the wealth that ideally belonged to Indians' and settling down there to completely exploit and enjoy the resources that were created out of our own wealth.
Since we are certainly not welcome, we will as well settle for around 200 years in UK and then come back to India to settle down once there are no more resources left in UK.
