I''m sad and embarrassed by this vlog, but hope that it can help someone else not make the same mistakes that I made. Flying a drone is an enormous responsibility and it''s critical to study up on the laws where you want to fly and obey all regulations, but even when you do everything right things can still go very VERY wrong. From losing all my footage from the day before to multiple expensive pieces of equipment being lost over the edge of a cliff, this day was the biggest disaster I''ve had while traveling. We were so excited to visit the unique floating mountains of the Zhangjiajie National Forest during our 21 days in China. We battled the muggy heat on our hike and it was worth all the effort for the stunning views. Riding in the cable cars down the mountain felt like flying through the movie Avatar.

2. How did you guys book the hotels? I heard that some were not able to accomendate foreigners, (and my friend whom I''''''''m traveling with is not Chinese), did you have to call the hotels to make sure?
2. Was it easy to buy train tickets, did you guys have to preorder them in any of the cases?

I was born in China, but moved with my family to the United States when I was nine, and next summer will be my first time going back after nine years. We did use mainly cash, the ATMs were not free so we tried to take out cash as few times as possible. The fee depends on your bank. We used Booking.com and other sites like that for booking our hotels. Hotels that advertise there do accept foreigners. We bought some train tickets online and some in the stations the day before when we were in a city. How we navigated that is included in several of the videos in this series. oh my, sorry for you. but in china you can always ask for some help, it may help you get your Memory card back at lest. even people dont speak english they will know you need help and find some one who can speak, make phone calls for you etc. and its for free. some times you can also try service line in china, it may not work, but some times it may surprise you. it depends on policy in different countries, and it will not replace u a new one. but it may help u get a new one with low price. i have some chinese equipments buy in france and i called chinese service and they did help me.

The scenery is absolutely breathtaking! I wish you told us more about the rock formations and some history behind that famous town because China has history and stories about everything. Who cares about McDonald’s!!!

I was in china for 10 days last year and its a damn short time when the tour guide only gave us an hour to explore the entire places! Let alone if one of us were lost then we had to spend hours just to find the person..
God willing,next year i will go back to china for a fun trip!
