When I got home I just went to bed. But when I woke up in the morning I felt like I got hit by a bus. My entire body hurt with some big bruises on my left, smaller ones on my right and some scrapes here and there.

Can't say I've had a kidney stone. But I'm not sure it's worse that an expressed rotting nerve in your mouth. Hopefully I'll never have to know which is worse.

I was pulling a machine apart and was in a really bizarre position and I had grabbed underneath for better grip and pulled, it felt like a rubber band snapped inside. It took weeks for me to realize how bad I hurt myself, I was vomiting complete lack of energy and I just put it up to I was being lazy . I eventually blacked out vomiting . But that pain was intense , no matter how I moved or what I did there was no escaping it. After some antibiotics and a few days rest it was night and day, I also no longer will work on machinery that large alone anymore.

I remember thinking, I must have a small stone, because this pain isn't really living up to the hype. It's manageable. But then the stone popped out and it was 7mm which is about the largest you can pass. And it was spikey.

Also another thing. It wasn't constant flank pain for the entire 6 weeks. About half of it, I felt nothing. Another 48%, I had an urge to pee to varying degrees . Sometimes it was mild and ignorable, sometimes it was like I might as well get comfortable at the toilet for hours because the urge is unbearable, even though nothing comes out. I only had flank pain maybe 8 hours total, in maybe 3 different times during that 6 weeks. Arguably the worst part was the intense urge to pee, I never want to live through that again.

Started with football in highschool but now it can come out in various situations. Sometimes it slides out in my sleep too lol. It's much worse if I pop it out and it gets stuck which has only happened about 6-7 times but when it does get stuck holy fuck it hurts to get back in.

Not worth snuffing it over. Only 5 seconds of pain followed by total numbness while the doctor resets the foot. I honestly did not realize the meaning of pain until that day and haven't come close to that level of misery since then.

My parents took me to the doctor because I was constantly screaming (in pain), but the doctor couldn't find anything wrong with me. He gave them a referral to the university clinic. There they kept me for several weeks because the docotrs couldn't find ANYTHING wrong with me, but they somehow knew that I was in legitmate pain. After some weeks, the leading doctor walked up to my dad and told him they had found the cause of my pain: Kidney stones. But not the regular kind. These had formed within the tissue of my kidneys, so there was no possibility of passing them, they had to do surgery on both kidneys.
