I do not think sane officials can do more than they are. The battle to fight disinformation is limited to what democratic rights it can infringe upon. Education and social welfare as well as equality are key factors to overcome disinformation, but these things are seen as anti-american in almost all red states. The reason his parents even GOT Covid in the first place (even though they were vaccinated) is BECAUSE of people like him who helped the virus mutate to a different variant than his parents were vaccinated against. And, even though his parents got Covid, they didn't die (or maybe didn't even get real sick) because they were vaccinated. Listen folks . . yes people who have been vaccinated are still getting Covid because unvaccinated people are making themselves hosts for virus to continue in our population and to mutate. Unvaccinated are holding us all hostage and causing the need to continue masking and may cause us to lockdown again. They are causing the economy and business to struggle. I do not think sane officials can do more than they are. The battle to fight disinformation is limited to what democratic rights it can infringe upon. Education and social welfare as well as equality are key factors to overcome disinformation, but these things are seen as anti-american in almost all red states. This means that people will continue down a death spiral and will be held back by the iron fist of the government. It is sad but it is reality.

Did you hear the statistics on the amount of ppl who are in there who didn't get it? Nothing ever is 100%. I'm confused why ppl have no problem with the laundry list of vaccinated we give our kids for school, or laws for seat belts. Do you have the right to die in a car accident if you want to? If Trump had never been president, this wouldn't be such a huge issue, period. They are all Republicans, you don't see blue states w/this prob. My state is 80% vaccinated. We don't have an overflowing hospital either.

The reason his parents even GOT Covid in the first place (even though they were vaccinated) is BECAUSE of people like him who helped the virus mutate to a different variant than his parents were vaccinated against. And, even though his parents got Covid, they didn't die (or maybe didn't even get real sick) because they were vaccinated. Listen folks . . yes people who have been vaccinated are still getting Covid because unvaccinated people are making themselves hosts for virus to continue in our population and to mutate. Also, if the younger one got the delta variant, it is much more contagious and I believe more infectious --- with no vaccine, his system was more overwhelmed.
