They get over-pressured by labels to perform to others expectations, and suffer from anxiety as a result of it.
They expect money to come to them in proportion with the difficulty of problems that their intellect is uniquely capable of solving. They may sometimes take jobs just to feel rewarded by the fulfillment of helping society. This pattern of not negotiating financial compensation has led to a “competitive wage” that could be so bad that they may even consider a layman’s job that has better financial security. This is especially true in less advanced countries.
They commonly postpone pursuing serious romantic endeavors indefinitely. They may have given up after trying understand irrational behaviors from others, especially those who have trouble communicating articulately. They may be wary of the danger of over-commitment and distractions. They may also realize that their intelligence is unrelated to the concept of “emotional intelligence”—they may just think that it’s merely another word for the like-mindedness required to build rapport. There’s just an overwhelming abundance of “tacit knowledge” required, and they may consider the cost-to-benefit ratio, and deem such an endeavor low priority, missing out on a part of social life.

They don’t invest much effort in making elaborate designs and preparations for everyday things, such as food, clothing, and housing. They revise every routine/habit for increased efficiency, so they can spend time learning about things that may help them solve bigger problems. They may end up having 5 sets of the same style versatile/all-season clothing, and a low maintenance hair style. Food needs may be reduced to “anything with calories”, requiring minimal effort to prepare, preferably something that can be walked away from and picked up later.
They don’t have much common sense when it comes to mingling with society. They may inquisitively question everything, possibly even things like small talk/greetings and emotional reactions. Others may consider small talk/greeting to be simple and so common that it should be considered natural (not made for any purpose; it just exists). The genius may think there’s a deeper meaning, such as them trying to be more friendly, when they weren’t thinking anything at all, doing it out of habit. This turns into an awkward confrontation, where the greeter seems defensively worried about what the genius may be thinking, when the genius isn’t overthinking and is simply relying on hearing what the greeter was thinking. When the greeter blurts that they really didn’t mean whatever the genius is thinking, the genius is left with an answer that doesn’t satisfy their curiosity. The misunderstanding leaves the genius to resolve it on their own, perhaps deducing that the greeting was a thoughtless action to attract attention, and acknowledge each others existence.

They likely don’t have friends who they can talk to on an equal level, and truly open up to. They may have a hobby buddy, who could merely an enthusiast in some niche industry. They don’t really find friends until they get older and earn recognition and get invited to high society institutions.
They seem lazy. They heavily belief in working smarter, not harder. If they have a task given to them, especially one that’s repetitive such as cleaning up the room, they will figure out a way to reduce the amount of labor. They may even neglect it for a while, convinced that their [so-far-unperfected] solution will make up for the neglect.

First of all, what’s going to follow is based on my (very) personal perceptions of the subject. And second, like with most people (including more “normal” ones), it’s quite difficult to find real and “absolute” commonalities.
Now with these disclaimers out of the way, I do still notice patterns (some might not be what you expect):
Arrogance is the most “famous”, known one … and there is more than a kernel of truth to it. It does vary a lot though and is not as common as some might expect … though still easy enough to find. Unfortunately, those are the kind that tend to stand out from our “crowd” (if such a word can used for people like us), and are those, despite generally being in the minority, that give us a bad reputation.

It’s incredibly difficult to generalize people with high IQ’s. Most lists of “typical flaws” geniuses have written about on the internet are very generalized so that more people can relate to them and therefore get more views and traffic to make money via ads. People with high IQ’s in reality have various flaws, just as anyone else does. There are some things that CAN occur in people with high IQ’s such as:
Serious social deficits/social skills.
-Isaac Newton (One of the two guys who invented calculus as well as discovered a few laws of physics, arguably one of the most important/influential minds in history) was fanatically religious and was generally not a pleasant person. A highly impatient narcissist. He spent his life for the most part, alone.

-Elon Musk stutters quite a bit when he speaks. This is pretty minor, and IMO adds to his charm, but it’s there.
-It is debated that Einstein suffered from autism/Asperger's. It is said he was a loner and often repeated sentences obsessively when he was a child.
Emotional Issues/depression.
-Highly intelligent people process information much more efficiently than the average person and can take in more of it. All of the fine details of life they are likely more in tune with and can quickly analyze and draw conclusions of how the world works, and, reality is reality. The world is very far from a perfect place, and highly intelligent people know this to a greater degree of detail than most. This obviously has a profound effect on emotional well-being.

-Add to that, the highly intelligent probably feel much more alone not having a whole lot of people they can really relate to. As in having conversation with others with the depth and stimulation their higher intelligence requires. Add to that the social deficit they may or may not have.
However, there are definitely higher IQ individuals who don’t necessarily have these traits or any of the others listed in click-bait articles written with the intention of feeling relatable. Also, people with lower IQ’s can certainly have these traits.

Allow me to open with this beautiful quote from Aristotle:
There is always a touch of madness in every genius.
No doubt that Aristotle was a genius and this quote can apply in the disagreement with his teacher, Plato.
Aristotle wanted to experiment with everything instead of believing the dogmas that his ancestors used to believe in. He wanted to be more practical and not theoretical.
Aristotle showing his hand down: Meaning, we must focus on what we have down here. getting more practical and bringing forward the proof of things. He’s a realist.
Plato pointing above: Believing in the Supreme One and leaving everything to fate, if you can’t explain them.
At least that’s my interpretation of the picture—You can come up with your own as well. Your opinion(s) will be considered!

You can’t put two geniuses into the same room and expect something great from them. There will always be disagreements until you separate them.
Let’s take the most recent geniuses that you are aware of—Nikola Tesla and Issac Newton. I know you want Albert Einstein to be included here too. Your wish has been granted!
The first two geniuses had fiancees/girlfriends but they never got married—Why?
Einstein got married, but can you call it a successful marriage? There were strict rules that his wife had to follow. Not to disturb him while he’s studying and to get his meals ready.
It’s obvious that most of the geniuses have flaws when it comes to marriage.
It’s almost impossible for them to live a normal life that’s full of peace and harmony.

Typically, geniuses have following flaws..
1. Geniuses typically have difficulty with conventional things, very few people can engage with genius minds, so there's always a high possibility of being a social outcast.
2. Loneliness. It is really hard to find other geniuses around, so they tend to feel emotionally lonely.This is sometimes helpful, as it makes them indulge more in their work.
3. They are misunderstood and underestimated by peers, by society and even by themselves. People purposely ignore them because they fear they will be corrected in their posture, method, grammar or descri1ption of something. 4. Difficulty in relationship. They have a hard time keeping a balanced relationship as they have high expectations from others. 5. They are likely to be considered crazy.

6. Overthinking. The more you know and aware of in the world, the more you look for answers. They often over analyze things, thus thinking about every action and its consenquences, every interaction, every word they say and every person they meet. 7. A high tendency to procrastinate. So much going on their minds, they are more prone to procrastinate than the average people. 8. They value autonomy, which makes them unable to work with others in their craft. 9. Inability to focus. Having too many passions and interests, they tend to dissipate their focus. 10. They are more likely to be self-destructive. Being naturally super-curious, they tend to abuse substances.

* Genius mind always works on skill set they have e.g. Steve jobs (who skill set is improving design) refused use oxygen mask during hospitalization due to non ergonomic, bad design.
* Genius mostly found stupid/unworthy at interviews. They cannot respond fast. May not be articulate. Multiple things to process in brain makes them look absent minded. They are not articulate.
* Genius are child like(Steve Wozniak) straightforward & simple their moves are so simple other cannot believe (this will not hold good if genius skill is strategist)
* Genius are easy victim of exploitation by supervisors. They fail to promote themselves in corporate/Industry.
* Genius are very very tolerant but long term robbing of credit reward & recognition will make a rebel.

* They will always stand for a value they believe irrespective of benefits.
* Genius think others also can easily do what they can do easily.
* They will not find match in people around them so may be mostly friendless but compensate with children, pets, book or doing what can they are expert at.
* genius are poor at financial management it doesn't interest them otherwise they can excel if mind is set.
* They cannot recall names but they will not forget the faces. They strength is visualization.
these are applicable too pure geniuses, Steve jobs & Elon musk are started business at young and are different than Nicola Tesla Steve Wozniak.
Edit
* Genius are so because they question everything, this quality also make them question status quo, methods of supervisor thus makes them unpopular.

Alex Mann Historian (2017-present)
This is John Forbes Nash- he is a brilliant mathematician and one of the most renowned minds in human history. He is responsible for multiple equations and mathematical breakthroughs that influenced everything from economics to geometry. In addition to be a genius intellectual and genius mathematician he also suffered from schizophrenia his entire adult life. What makes this more interesting though is his family.
Nash had 2 sons both of whom were named John. One of these sons went on to have a decent career in business but was otherwise quite average in terms of raw IQ and intellectual ability. He certainly was a bit above average but not a genius and went on to live a mostly regular life like most people.

The other son was far more like his father and became a renowned mathematician and chess player with Ph.Ds and awards just like his old man. He was descri1bed as brilliant and talented from a young age and to this day is a renowned mathematician. He also was just like his father in terms of mental health. He too struggled with schizophrenia and other mental health issues.
There is a undeniable lix between mental health and genius in a lot of circumstances. We all know about idiot-savants who are absolutely brilliant in narrow applications but lack any social ability and often find it impossible to communicate or live normal lives. Albert Einstein was famously a strange individual who struggled to find his way home at night. Looking at Einstein it becomes clear that something is off with him. He dressed in such a strange way and was always appeared disheveled.

There is a long list of genius level individuals who become the top 1% of professionals in their field but also suffer from an inability to socialize, communicate, or suffer from mental health issues. One wonders if the flaws in the brain that cause something like schizophrenia also cause one to be a genius intellect.
Here are some more geniuses who had mental health problems
Churchill: Bipolar Disorder
Abraham Lincoln: Depression
Michelangelo: Autism
Charles Darwin: Agoraphobia
Kurt Godel: Delusions and Hallucinations
Isaac Newton: Bipolar disorder and maybe Autism
Leo Tolstoy: Depression

1. Intelligent people are more likely to suffer from depression
They see this world with a perspective that is completely different from the general worldview. Add to that goodness, and sensitivity, the sadness doubles.
2. People get jealous of you and love it when you fail
Intelligence is a privilege. It is as good as riches and people tend to get jealous.
3. Everyone thinks you are arrogant when you make a point
Being assertive is not expected out of good people. And sound and lucid points are not understood very well by people either.
4. You sometimes fail to live up to people’s expectations
Parents. Friends. Teachers. Everyone expects you to be the greatest human being that ever lived. They fail to see that intelligent people can choose any path they want to – even if it is in a mundane office doing mundane things.
5. No one comes to help you assuming you can take care of yourself more than efficiently
Sometimes, even the intelligent need advice. Even they need help and support.
Sometimes, intelligence and being good, instead of being a privilege becomes a liability.
And that is when you really start thinking about how the society actually behaves.
Being intelligent has its downfalls. And the double whammy is when you are a person too. An intelligent person with no empathy or concern about other people can survive very easily. He does not care.
