That particular japanese is probably from the jomon or ainu people. The majority of the japanese is yayoi which came from china/Korea anyway.

However, with your logic that it is this mixed race that separates the modern Japanese from the ancient Japanese and ultimately makes the Japanese girls more attractive than the South Korean girls, you are actually eluding to the underlying statement that South Koreans possess the better trait for what determines attractiveness, for the yayoi did indeed descended from China and Korea, but the native Japanese mainly interacted with Korea, as it was an isolated island with only Korea as its closest neighbor. If it is thanks to this mixing of the Korean gene that makes the Japanese attractive, then basically your comment was a confirmation that the Koreans are more better looking.

Yes, and I do want to make a distinction to clear up a misconception about Koreans. While the majority of Korean females do get plastic surgery, that doesn’t necessarily mean that they were ugly and magically became pretty. I’ve known a lot of very pretty girls who got plastic surgery just to enhance their looks . Think of it as people who do steroids, most guys who do steroids were already pretty huge and bigger then the average guy, the majority are not skinny guys who take steroids to “cheat” their way to a better body. So in a similar fashion many Koreans also do plastic surgery because making the eyes a little bigger or nose thinner can make a girl who is a solid 7 into a 8 or 9. Most ugly girls I’ve known that got surgery did admittedly get a bit better looking but I would still say they were somewhat unattractive for my tastes. Like they would go from a 5 to a 6 which just puts them in the realm of “dateable” for a lot more guys.

So while that was a bit of a tangent, yes most Koreans believe themselves to be better looking then Chinese and Japanese. Its not a totally irrational belief, Koreans tend to dress and do makeup better then any other Asians. Also a lot of ugly guys even clean up their appearance and can manage to get much better looking girls. I don’t see that often among Chinese and Japanese people, when they are ugly they seem to just resign themselves to being ugly and continue to not dress or take care of their appearance like getting regular haircuts or keeping up with fashion trends. So while genetically I’m sure Koreans are no better looking then other East Asians, they do make an effort to make themselves presentable to other people which actually makes a huge difference. It might be very superficial and I’m not advocating it as a superior culture but it probably has affected the way people see Koreans around the world as many people seem to view Koreans as the pinnacle of beautiful Asians.

No one country wins the “pretty contest.” All women can be made more beautiful with the right makeup application and fashion sense. Japanese and Korean women are very closely tied in those areas. Sophistication, no doubt, follows GNP. Hong Kong and Taiwanese women, as well. But mainland Chinese women are decidedly lacking in those areas. As much as they try to emulate Japanese and Korean style, something is always a bit off. You can take the girl out of the country, but nearly impossible taking the country out of the girl.

Ha! I can’t disagree. I just made a similar remark on a question asking whether Colombian women think they are prettier than other South Americans. Colombian women -and Korean women- aren’t necessarily prettier (to think any one country wins the “pretty contest” would be absurd). But Korean and Colombian women take great care of of themselves. They have a keen sense of fashion and beauty aesthetics, hence the popularity of K-beauty. Japanese women, on the other hand, are more akin to German women—-practical and less openly feminine and sexual.

That’s because most chinese people especially woman do not put on make up. Just take a look around. But when they do and know how to dress up , shit man!.. I know because I experience it.. before… just go to a wedding and you will see, else they just dress naturally. They shine because chinese tend to have a lot more female with natural double eyelids than japanese or koreans. Most korean females I know have single eyelid and it’s until they do the make up, they are able to fold it slightly. Chinese have natural double eye lids and if they know how to make up.. watch out. It’s like a diamond cleaned up after cover with dirt.
To koreans, beauty is everything so they will cover up flaws and stuff and plastic surgery. If the chinese knows how to do make up like koreans, they will shine just as well, especially when most have double eyelids.
So if you wake up, you rather see a chinese female over korean because they natural doesn’t do make up anyways.. LOL.. it’s a joke.
One thing is that korean girls tends to be taller than chinese and especially japanses. Japanese girls are tiny. Tall is also a beauty style too.

That’s because most chinese people especially woman do not put on make up. Just take a look around. But when they do and know how to dress up , shit man!.. I know because I experience it.. before… just go to a wedding and you will see, else they just dress naturally. It might sound harsh but Koreans often joke about how Chinese people dress and look and they jokingly say “you look like Chinese" when someone dresses up really poorly.. and people really kind of get upset when they hear that.
I think, although its not healthy discrimination, Koreans stereotype Chinese as people who are out of fashion taste or not attractive in terms of appearance. This is not good I know but I am being blunt and honest that this is dirty side of how Koreans think about them.

Sorry guys, by all mean, all races have beautiful people. And yes, back in 90s some HK actresses such as Joey Wong were very popular and Koreans considered HK people to be attractive and handsome. I think its more to do with recent popularity of Kpop that made people think this way.

I've been to all 3 countries and have to say Chinese girls on average are much better looking than koreans and on par with Japanese girls, but japanese girl tend to be shorter unfortunately. I'm talking about natural look as well, one can easily see past the layers upon layers of makeup. Especially up north, very natural looking with gorgeous long legs and elegent faces all done without plastic surgery or a lot of makeup. Korean guys however do dress a lot better and tend to be skinnier on average. With that said, the diversity I've seen in China, I've seen some nasty looking mofos as well as natural models in both guys and gals and the model looking folks really would give agencies a run for the money. You see extremes everyday, there is no average Chinese from what I've noticed. It's too bad the virus is still going on, otherwise I'd tell ya to get out more and see more of the world. It might open your mind a little! Either ways most folks around me can't tell the difference between the 3 asians anyways so it always chuckles me up when I see the 3 fighting about who's better! There's beautiful and ugly in all countries, and especially subjective when you consider the beauty standards as well!
