Best way to motivate yourself to study,
Imagine you like something like some eating thing like Balaji, gulab jamun, or some other thing.
Kept it in front of yourself and decide, if I will study these answers then only I will eat this.
Keep things which you like to eat.
This will make you study hard and quickly.
It is the natural tendency of human beings that if we can get any other thing by doing one thing then we will do that thing.
Do you remember, in our childhood our mother use to say do the homework I will give you chocolate?
Same as that.
Or else decide that if I did this chapter or this part of the portion I will meet my friends and will go to eat panipuri
I did this for few times, as I study late at night and I like to watch youtube videos. So I gave target to myself, complete this lecture then watch one video on youtube.
This motivates me to study hard and fast.

Make organised, neat and clean notes, it plays an important role in studying.
Avoid using Instagram and snapchat without any reason.
Make your room or workplace as minimal as you can, it helps in focusing.
Meditate to increase concentration.
Stop procastinating.
Write down whole syllabus of a subject and then the topics, and try to complete the topics.
Use Anki Flash cards , it really helps to study, and cover up whole the syllabus properly, you can check out on google , what are they.
Just push yourself to study for 40 minutes, then have a break for 10–15 minutes.
Avoid using phone for unimportant things like chatting, posting stories and everything.
Don't copy other's style of studying but be influenced by them as it varies from person to person.
Make a schedule and strictly follow it.
No need to Study for hours if you are just sitting and studying to increase the time period of studying.
Enjoy and try to understand the topics.
Well it's my point of view, but you can try other ways of studying too, I personally try to follow these steps…. Hope you guys will be satisfied from my answer.

避免无故使用Instagram和snapchat(社交软件)。

Action breeds Motivation
So in order to always remain motivated to study, you need to take action first. Here are a few tips that may help-
Always have a ritual to study
Make it an inevitable part of your day to study at least for 2 hours sincerely at the same time of the day.
For eg. I have made it a routine to study Maths from 8 to 10 am every single day. This way I do it daily without much effort and tbh I have started to love this process of doing Math.
When you make such a kind of ritual then your brain does not waste its time and energy to think. This is the only reason why we do not require motivation to do mundane tasks like bathing, brushing, cleaning, etc.

2. Track your Progress
If you want to build a habit then start tracking it. When you track the no. of hours studied daily, weekly, and monthly, then you realize how much you are studying and it motivates you to study further.
I personally like to use the forest app for the same. By the end of the month, I am able to know where I stand.
Lastly, just do it. Whenever you lack the motivation to study then just open your books and put a timer of 10 minutes and study only for that time period. In the majority of the cases, you will be motivated to study more.
Hope this helps!
Thank you for reading :)

People don't love you they love your credentials.
Right now my credential says MBBS Student at ESIC Medical College Faridabad. Hardly anyone knows that it exists. (Although for me it's my AIIMS Delhi. ??)
If it would be MBBS Student from AIIMS Delhi , I would have 20k+ followers, alot of Upvotes on my answers and views in millions.
No matter how good you write here on Quora , people having great credentials will always have more Followers and respect.
Although you can earn respect and Followers without a good credential too but it will take time to get recognition.
you must have seen that people only ask how are you either when you look good or when you do good.
So better to work hard to earned great credentials. People will definitely follow you either way…??
I used to motivate myself by saying I don't have any second option. I need to work hard. My parents are not rich and I don't wanted to waste all the money they used for my Coaching.

If you watch Sandeep maheshwari sir's video you must have watched that video of Power of focus.
In which he said imagine a person stuck in Desert for days and he don't have a single drop of water to drink…
What would he drink then ???
The answer is definitely his own Urine.
Now drinking your own Urine ?? seems like stupidity isn't it.
Like why don't you go right now to the toilet and try this thing ??
Would you ???
Obviously no!
Why ???
Because you don't have a Reason!

Exactly ,same goes with studies. A failure will always have 100s of reasons why he couldn't achieve what he wanted to.
And a Successful person also have 100s of reasons why he can't do anything but he has that Only Reason which Forced him rather inspired him and he did it…
Now all you have to do is to find your only reason.
They say Motivation is the outcome and not the foundation.
Once you start studying the feeling that you will get after finishing a bit of syllabus will inspire you to do more.
Right now due to this pandemic situation even I am facing major challenges in my studies, even I am not trying to cover my syllabus knowing that I will definitely have my exams.
Hope I also start studying soon...
Smile Dear, I'm there with you don't worry. ??
Adios Amigos Signing off!

He spent 27 years behind bars.
He lived through 18 years of hard labour by day; a cell without a bed or plumbing by night.
He never got to raise his children.
He was denied the right to bury both his eldest son and mother.
He changed the course of history of an entire Nation.
His name is Nelson Mandela.
How did he defy the odds?
How did he end the apartheid?
How did he become South Africa’s first black president?

Nelson Mandela was clear on two things:
He knew Where he was going and Why.
Find your “Why”
Do you remember your time at school or college?
If so, you will remember those students who just seemed to excel. No matter what, they were always studying, always working.
They did well.
You probably wrote them off as gifted?
That’s why they seem to be able to push through anything, always studying, always achieving.

Well, it turns out IQ plays a minor role. What studies have found was the top students all have this in common.
They have a clear why.
Top students know why they are studying.
Their why is their higher purpose. The reason that drives them to keep pushing through the books when they’re tired.
It is their unwavering Furness of motivation.
Find your why. Use this to keep you moving when times are hard.
When you find your why, you’re no longer studying. Instead, you are taking action towards your beliefs and goals - your why.
Find your “Where”

Do you sometimes watch TV or aimlessly scroll through social media?
It’s, mostly, an enjoyable and relaxing experience.
What if you had an assignment due the next day?
Is it still enjoyable?
This is the power of direction.
When you know where you need to go, what you need to do, you gain a new ability.
The ability to see when you are going in the wrong direction.
To find your direction, set goals.
Goals give you a clear path to focus on and guard against distractions. It helps you hold the course when more pleasurable things are in sight.
What’s more, as you achieve your goals, they will drive you to achieve more. Your dopamine will reinforce this loop - feeding you a steady trickle of motivation! This is why short-term goals are as important as long-term goals.
Remember, studying is just a necessary part of your journey to achieve your why.
When you know where you’re going and why, the motivation will find you.
If you have found this helpful, you can follow me on Quora Here to learn more about improving your life. Thank you for taking the time to read this answer.

Read the first half and if you still aren't motivated go-ahead for the next one and I hope I can make a difference to your life as someone did to mine :)
Success, ambition, dreams, money, luxuries nothing comes easy and everything has a price which you have to earn. There are no shortcuts to success so don't bother wasting time considering that easy option. The tighter you sleep when you could burn the midnight oil the sleepless you will be in your future so wake up as the hard work you put in your 20’s is a going to define you for the long run.
“Padai karke shayad neend kho do tum ek do raat ki, par jo neend kuch ukhaad lene ke baad aati hai na, bas ise yaad rakho aur uth jao jisse aage so pao”
Translation-
“You might lose a night or two’s sleep while burning that midnight oil but remember, the peaceful sleep you get after achieving something you dreamt is worth every bit of that sacrifice, so wake up to have a better sleep tomorrow.”
I guess I did motivate you and if you still aren't motivated you can go ahead reading. I am writing a personal incident which changed me from a person who always questioned myself this question to a person who can write an answer to this question.

2014–2018
I and my roommate were the best of friends during my undergraduate but we were 2 different people. She was very focussed and I remember she used to work really hard and I often use to ask her why does she stay awake putting up all nighters since our second year and I guess I know the answer now. whereas I did probably 30% of what she did. I use to sleep peacefully unaware of the fact that what I sow today is what I would reap in the future. Years passed by and it hit me hard when the placements were going on and I landed a job with a decently average package in my hand. I wasnt satisfied with myself but at the same time, I acknowledged my mistake and took this incident positively more like an inspiration which made me realize that to bring a change in my situation I need to change myself. Honestly, I was and am extremely happy and proud of her and till date, I tell her how this incident inspired me for life and I hope my post does the same for at least one of you out there who is reading this in hope of getting motivated.
2014–2018

2018–2019
I was unsatisfied and had quite a few restless nights post, my undergraduate, as it was hitting me hard that I did not achieve what I had dreamed off and to be honest I did not deserve it. I realized where I had gone wrong and I knew it would take a lot to mend things back but I was determined to leave no stone untouched. I started working hard, really hard. I still remember I use to come back from office and sleep around 5 am in the morning and run back o office at 9 for more than a month as I had a number of exams piled which made it tiring and tedious. It was extremely strenuous and draining but you know what kept me going-my passion to get what I wanted but I would advise you not to wait for things to go wrong so go ahead and do the hard work when its meant to be as its not very easy to come out of that pool of discontent and regret and it takes a lot, so wake up and work hard as everyone doesnt get that second chance.
Result-
I got admits from top universities in the US and also got admitted to my dream university with a scholarship which makes me feel proud and satisfied about myself and I guess I know why I wasnt able to sleep well earlier, a part of me could not sleep in peace but now I feel content and motivated.
2018–2019

You aren't at fault if you haven't found a satisfactory answer to this question yet because the question is faulty in itself!
From all I know about motivation, it's kind of an emotional state and you're asking how do I motivate myself to study as if there's a switch you'd flip and boom you'll feel motivated all day
The way you communicate with yourself matters so if you keep telling yourself that you need motivation to study and you currently aren't feeling it and so you just sit all day waiting for it to arrive.
You're fooling yourself
The best and easiest way to study for hours on end is to actually fucking sit down and open the bloody textbook.
Honestly, you can go through every “tip and trick", watch every YouTube video, Ted Talks
First, try studying for just 30 minutes, pickup the easiest topics, give yourself a small achievable target and put a nice reward after when you're done. You'll have to push yourself in the starting, it'll be boring, you'll feel sleepy but do not stop.
Gradually, increase the time, take it to an hour, then two and more but on the way do not pressurize yourself, it's okay if you fail but it's not okay if you don't get back up.
The key here isn't how many topics you can cover within the minimum time, it is to familiarize you with the environment.
I'm sorry if I couldn't motivate you and to be honest, I didn't mean to. Not every pill can be sugar-coated and sometimes, the most jagged ones turn out to be the most rewarding ones.
