A Blue color brand new BMW stopped at a red light.
A young, nicely dressed woman was sitting at back, while there was a chauffeur on the driver's seat.
Suddenly a very old and lean man arrived, in late 80’s maybe.
He knocked the back door window.
The woman didn't pay attention.
But he kept knocking, finally, she opened the window and almost shouted-
“My hard earned money is not to waste on beggars like you, go and do some job”
The old man bowed down his head and started walking away slowly in the scorching heat.
But suddenly the chauffeur opened his window and gave a 10 rupee note to that old man and said-
“You look hungry, go and eat something"
The old man's eyes lit up, he touched the driver's head, gave him blessings and said-
“One day you will own the same car”
Driver smiled and replied-
“Then I will also become greedy for my wealth and refuse help to old and needy people, and instead advice them to do a job. It's better if I stay what I am”
The lady kept staring at the chauffeur in anger and embarrasment as the beggar walked away.
Money may bring greed honey!

Watching the news today gives a great picture of the contrast between the mindset of those who succeed and those who don’t.
With the news of COVID-19 broadcast 24/7 people are in full on panic mode.
Pictures of long lines outside Costco with hundreds of people waiting to get in so they can empty the shelves before some other shmuck does.
People lining up at 3 in the morning to be the first in line when they open early for seniors.
People hoarding year’s supplies of toilet paper and bottled water.
Terrified investors racing others to sell out their stock investments as the stock market careens down.
People walking down a deserted street wearing a face mask and latex gloves.

Meanwhile those who will be successful take a different tack.
They order online and have all their necessities delivered skipping the hours of lines.
Companies like Amazon are ramping up production to meet the increased online demand.
Successful investors are buying stocks they’ve been wanting to buy and now are at bargain levels.
And many are enjoying a forced slower pace of life by taking long walks with their loved ones.
So at the core what’s the difference between those who succeed and those who don’t?
Those who continually struggle view the world as full of problems. And they hope to just survive.
Those who continually succeed view the world as full of opportunities. And they expect to thrive.

And what results?
Time to plan for success.
Calmness to see clearly.
Opportunities that bring reward.
Confidence to seize the moment.
A reset of life priorities.
Increasing efficiency.
Focusing on what’s most important.
Spending more time with loved ones.
Creating increased health.
And the success that flows to those who do exactly the opposite of most people.
Oh, and not filling up their spare bedroom with 14 years supply of toilet paper.
What determines if you will fail or succeed? Most importantly, what you expect.

I grew up in several stages, When I was a child, my parents were college students and we had little and lived in neighborhoods with “poor people”. Then we got to middle class status and lived with lower middle-class people. Then we got to higher middle class, then eventually I went to schools with upper middle-class and really rich people, then I went to two Ivy League colleges and was around a range of people that included all levels but added super rich. I mean rich enough to support hundreds of families and not even notice it.

The only people whose attitudes are worth discussing are the ones who made the money, not the people who happen to be rich. The really rich - not who got lucky but who built their vast wealth out of nothing - have a mindset that would allow them to go out and do it again. Sometimes it takes more than one generation, but the individuals who are actually responsible for getting from poor to super wealthy know what they’re doing in every area of their life. They are success machines. They are disciplined and they aim most of the things in their lives towards eventual wealth in a way that almost no poor person ever does. Or even medium wealth person ever does.

As for the lazy bums those really rich wealth creators fund? Irrelevant what their attitudes are to this discussion. Most of them will use up the wealth and their descendants will be poor again because they think like poor people: money is for now, spend all of it. But the attitudes of those who are headed for wealth but start out poor and pretty much always the same: they intend to be rich. They save and work intelligently and obsessively towards that goal, they don’t value celebration, partying, drug and alcohol use, or anything else. They value work, focus, creativity and ideas, and applying everything they have towards a goal.

That doesn’t necessarily make them good parents. They don’t always apply their understanding of money and life to their parenting, they don’t know how to raise kids with the right attitudes.

Wealthy people - the ones who actually make the wealth - and the vast number of poor people think in completely different ways. As for the idiots who inherit that wealth? Lots of them think like poor people and become poor as quickly as.
