Nothing like overstating the facts. It always helps to bring manufacturing home, but it left for several reasons. Producing chips produces toxic waste, it requires skilled employees to operate, it takes a long time to train operators and the product is much more expensive. The real problem is that China makes many life saving drugs. We could bring that production over here but we want lower drug prices and local manufacturing in much more expensive. It would be great to not have to depend upon foreign products but we must be ready to pay higher drug prices. Are we ??
