When you were thirsty outside meals, your everyday you would reach for the water tap, not for the soda bottle in the fridge. Your general idea is right, however there's one big problem: calories are nutrition.

I am an RN of over forty years and I am quite aware that some, a very small amount of medications cause weight gain. Steroids used medicinally cause a moon face and a pot belly. They do not by themselves cause weight gain except in cases of increased appetite where food intake should be controlled.

That meal actually looks pretty good! The broccoli and carrots will keep you ‘regular’. I remember walking to school as a kid, roaming all around the neighbourhood on my coaster bike, and playing for hours while eating nothing at all.
