EDIT: well this blew up! To all the comments saying this isn't how IQ works, thank you for the edification, but I am perfectly well aware of that. This is meant to just be a silly answer about cheating the system. Also, just because IQ doesn't work this way doesn't mean intelligence doesn't work this way. Based on that, I can safely lose 50 IQ points, giving me an IQ of 80, and still be within a normal IQ range, though that would make me noticeably more dull. However, that would give me 50 million dollars. Not accounting for how that would affect my ability to interact with people, and my personality, I’d do a lot worse in school, and probably would not be able to hold a very academically demanding job. That would not matter though, given that I would now be the proud owner of a nice fifty million.
