Other small changes are things like not taking baths and showering instead or turning off the tap when washing your hands. Maybe we can also look at increasing water storage in months where there's excess rainfall.
These all require money, time and a mild inconvenience to people. So of course they're not going to happen. People will forget to do the little stuff while no government would want to do the big stuff because they're short sighted.

Actually the role of meat in our ancestral diets has been severely overstated. Just recently, bowls thousands of years old were discovered in Africa (the original human ancestor) and the food traces in them were completely plant based. Humans ate for survival in ancient times, not for longevity.
The carnivore diet is at this point no more than psuedoscience. Sure, it might help people like yourself to a degree, but that's probably because you've eliminated a certain food group that was causing you problems, not that the meat itself is making you better. I'd be seriously concerned about your long term well being.

Youre totally right that its benefits come from removing irritants that trigger autoimmune responses and inflammation. I wouldn't call it psideoscience as its not really a science but rather a way of eating that has helped thousands of chronically ill people not just mitigate but eradicate life long symptoms. Its wonderful!
For me it completely removed my depression and anxiety, I feel so full of life again and just so grateful everyday I can be happy. I'm not the only one also.

It's worrying. I'm in Cumbria. It hasn't rained where I am for several weeks, apart from a brief shower the other night. The river that flows through my town can now be crossed happily by my kids without it going above their ankles. This is a river known for flooding badly. The local lake level is very, very low, and I haven't seen it like this before. Many of the feeder streams in the fells are drying up.
Whilst I agree that water companies need to do a lot more in terms of leaks, I'm not convinced that this would be enough.

Not to mention how overpopulated the world is... Even if we did manage to get robust green policies, what of bigger polluters like the US, China, Russia, India, etc.? Do they care?

This annoys me to no end, we should be able to use as much water as we like.
The public on accounts for <10% freshwater usage — and that's everything. Drinking, watering plants, showers, excessive powerwashing, cooking.
But there's been no incentive for agriculture and manufacturing to become more water-efficient, despite using up around 80-90% combined, because authorities will just penalise the public instead so that these two wasteful industries can continue to tap as much as they want.
Don't even get me started on the private water companies that seem to pocket all investment instead of putting the cash towards any sort of long-storage solution in a country where it rains for half the year, too.

We simply are not prepared for the future.
