Beijing and Shanghai are novice villages for Europeans who come to China. China is like a super big RPG game. You need to slowly explore the map. Only after leaving the novice village will the truly wonderful China be revealed in front of you. Yunnan, Inner Mongolia, xinjiang, Jiuzhaigou, Huangshan, Mount Tai, deserts, snow-capped mountains, Yangtze River, Yellow River, the southern region of Jiangsu in the rain and fog are like an ink painting, and the Erhai Lake in Dali is like a medi oil painting. I wish you a happy trip. China is worth exploring

When I visit historical sites, I like to close my eyes, think about ancient people, what kind of clothes they wore, what kind of mood they carried, and how they walked through those places...some kind of mind , mood, or hart conection

The music is perfect! Here’s a suggestion for you: with this kind of scenery, you should film it continuously for one minute! Let the entire minute be just the scenery—you two stay out of the frx, no talking! Let the audience fully experience the landscape! This is really great.

@yilunbai
Sad to see you leave! But so happy to hear that China has left a good impression to you two which makes you wanna come back again!! Hope we see you back in China soon and next time for longer and more regions!!!

@taobishu
I have watched many videos of foreign friends traveling in China, but your videos still stood out to me, and I particularly enjoyed them. At first, I didn't think about why, but after reading a friend's comment, I suddenly realized. Your videos do not deliberately emphasize the differences between China and what is portrayed in Western media, nor do they seek attention by doing so. Instead, you have made thorough preparations and plans for the trip, approaching your visit to China with an attitude of equality and a spirit of exploration. There is neither excessive exaggeration nor intentional belittlement, but rather a sense of familiarity that I felt. It is precisely this sense of familiarity that makes me like your videos.

The wall they're standing on was constructed during the Ming dynasty in the 1500s, making it only 500 years old. The 2000 year old wall referenced in the video is from the Qin dynasty, which was made of rammed earth and has long since eroded.

The Ming Great Wall was largely built upon and extended from the foundations of the Qin Great Wall and other earlier walls, which is why some sections follow similar paths.

@takchoi9961
I am very pleased to see that both of you are having a great time traveling in China. However, this section of the Great Wall was built during China's Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), so it is not as old as 2000 years, but approximately 400-600 years old. The parts of the Great Wall that date back 2000 years can still be found in some places in northwest China as remnants. These sections are not built with bricks but are made of earth. However, it's understandable that foreigners might not grasp these historical details, just as few Chinese people have a deep understanding of ancient Greek or Roman history.

@pc-510
I am really glad to see your bloggers who have done this strategy showcase the true side of China to the audience. There is no need for exaggerated praise, as there may also be some problems in China. But the Chinese people warmly welcome foreign friends like you who are sincere and unbiased!

@cn2866
You two seem very happy together, and as a Chinese person, I'm thrilled to see videos of your travels in China! Trust me, Beijing is just an average tourist city (though it's quite iconic). Traveling in China depends on what you're interested in seeing—cliffs? Waterfalls? High mountains? Lakes? Beaches? Terraced fields? There are so many places to visit, and all our cities are equally safe and welcoming.

@Josephhui-00
It is my hope that the blogger will journey to xi'an to partake in its rich cultural heritage; a city renowned for its diverse and distinctive culinary offerings. xi'an stands as the historical epicenter of China, having been designated as a "World Heritage City" by UNESCO in 1981. It holds a paramount place in the annals of Chinese civilization and the Chinese nation, serving as a pivotal birthplace and the initial endpoint of the fabled Silk Road, endowing it with the status of a globally renowned historical metropolis. It shares this distinguished honor with other ancient capitals such as Rome, Athens, Cairo, and others, encapsulating the essence of six of the world's ancient capitals.

In 6 days, you can take a quick tour of some scenic spots, and in 6 months, you can get a rough understanding of some big cities in China. However, if you really want to understand the entire China, you may not have enough time in your lifetime. Nevertheless, we still welcome more obxtive introductions to China and hope that your videos can help more netizens change their impression of China.

Actually most parts of the Great Wall had became ruine without any repair beacause of expensive cost ( you know...our ancestors built them more than 1,000 years...).
But you can still see the history from those ruine if you are very good at climbing mountains. BUT some parts are very dangerous.
By the way, there are very small munber of the Beacon Towers with cylinder shape on those ruine NOT cube shape.

@chaichad7227
How much did the travel agency pay you?
Sorry, just kidding. I'm Chinese. I have to say you really found a very reliable and professional travel agency.I strongly recommend that tourists visiting China also utilize your services. Many people really need professional guidance, and they are missing out on a lot of delicious food.
I'm glad you enjoyed the Great Wall. Just thinking about the fact that each stone beneath your feet has a history spanning over 500 years is quite fascinating, isn't it?
However, this is not the oldest existing section of the Great Wall. The oldest existing section of the Great Wall in China is located in Baotou City, Shanxi Province, which belongs to the Zhao Great Wall, dating back to 300 BC.Although it is no longer open to the public, it does indeed exist.
Welcome to come again next time!

@fuxuanzhang4944
There are many cities in China that welcome you to visit again, including Chengdu, xi'an, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Yunnan, xinjiang and Tibet. Tibet is so beautiful, it is heaven, Shangri-La, but be prepared for altitude sickness in advance.

Not gonna lie, after watching some china vlogs, china seems less fun and less lively compared to before Covid
Also there were a bunch of ice cream stands/carts almost everywhere (especially at the temples, and historical sites outside)
Before Covid,
Are they still there? I haven’t spotted any after watching many China vlogs

@user-gy2wf1kb3n
In the ancient Cold War era, the Great Wall was built as a defense against foreign invasions. The Great Wall, a mirror of the Chinese cultural mindset, "advocates defense to protect oneself, not offense to invade others."
Today's Chinese cultural security thinking is still based on the old notion that people do not offend me, I do not commit crimes, and if people offend me, I will commit crimes, emphasizing that they do not take the initiative to attack others, but if they are attacked by others, they must strike back strongly.
Therefore, the Chinese people's concept of thinking,Choosing to rely on force as the first means of solving problems. is reckless behavior, which is despised lack of wisdom performance.
Sun Tzu's Art of War has a saying, "The upper arm is the upper arm ......"

@YY-ct2gw
The Great Wall is long and has many different sections, but only Badaling and Jiayuguan are the most crowded, the rest are not that crowded. You didn't go to the most popular sections

@AngFred-qp9ll
With more and more video bloggers visiting China, it seems to me that those who actually bother to go China are 'relatively' rational and open-minded.
Of course, I AM NOT saying that people who don't go are relatively irrational and narrow-minded. What I mean is simply they are people who would hold prejudice and rather stick to their rhetoric about China - rather than go and seek truth even with the 144 hrs visa free opportunities accorded to them.
Not that 'Seeking The Truth' in China is doing China a favour. But is It IS an opportunity for one to have the chance to enjoy the myriads of travel destinations in China. Even if they realise that they are not our cup of tea, there is certainly no harm seeking them out - just like some other cities we visited and didn't enjoy much...
