I guess it depends on your perspective. All the people in my extended would likely disagree with you. I certainly do.
This is not even the most difficult political time I have experienced.
We lived under the constant threat of annihilation in a Nuclear war with the Soviet unx starting in the 1950’s. I practiced “Duck and Cover” in grade school to prevent being nuked. People were selling bomb cellars at the county fair (I walked thru them at 10 years old). This phase climaxed with the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962.

The media (or Social Media) always makes it seem like it is “the worst” because that is what sells. But it is just the latest test of wills. And over the long term things are better now than at any other time of my life. I suspect that in 30 years my kids will make the same statement about their current life. And some complainers will make the same negative statement about America then. And those will be wrong… Again.‘

A major problem with the U.S.A. is something that most Americans take pride in…their individualism. Cries for “freedom” are heard constantly. They are demands for individual autonomy. They say, “I have the right to do things my way!”
The problem is that along with a quarter of a billion individuals, there is a community which requires widespread support to make decisions and get things done.
Unless governments at the local, the state, and the national level are granted the right to govern, little can be accomplished. Too much individualism is a curse.

The US is not as safe as those countries. The US has a history of bad racism. The racism caused a civil war. Slavery was legal in the US. Slaves were tortured. The US is more impoverished. It will always be the worst country. There is no recognition of ethical and sexual rights. everyone is just fat lazy and stupid. yes, the USA is rich, but it’s NOT SAFE. I hate USA. as you read this, millions of people are being dictated to, antagonized, abused, kidnapped, etc. Of course, the USA has many great organizations, but they aren’t as powerful as the government’s rule. Take a look at SEA, they have strict rules to maintain good order.

So, firstly why travel across the globe. Visit countries in Africa, South America, Asia and Oceania and then you definitely wouldn’t be asking such a foolish question.
Every country has its dangers. But the dangers in the US is nowhere near certain countries. And lastly, grow a brain before asking such stupid questions.

Most things you know about the USA came from your own anger or reading stories that give a false set of facts. London now has more murders than New York per 100000 people. The press focuses on gun violence as it seems to be OK to be stabbed to death in London.

No, I would not. When I think of the horrors I hear about, especially involving women in many Islamic nations, I cringe and am grateful my daughter, who lives in the US, has only to put up with high medical costs.
In some African nations and other places where primitive mores are in force, I count my daughter and other family and friends lucky to live in the US (though I wish they lived in safe, “boring” Canada. No one, who pays any attention to international news and happenings could possibly think the US is the “worst” country in the world.

Despite all the short comings the U.S. has had, there has been no other country which has done more for the rest of the world (in all of human history.) Again, we have had our less than stelar historic moments but the world would be a much darker place if the U.S. were to fall.
If you truly believe the U.S. is the worst country in the world, I would suggest you go live in Cuba, Venezuela, China, Sudan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, etc. for say a couple of years and report the experiences you had in some of the aforementioned countries. Try going to Mecca and publicly denouncing the Saudi Royal Family and see what happens to you.

If you believe all the Progressive’s crap they are dishing out, then you think it’s true. We have always had a group of citizens who were disruptive in our Country, ie. the rioters against the draft in the Civil War, but probably never as much now with Mayors of major cities allowing rioting without calling out the National Guard. But it’s ending because the “Silent Majority” is becoming more vocal. I think we will come back to the Country we love when we get rid of the vocal minority who really want a communist’s country. But we can’t sit back and watch.

It is not. At least, it hasn’t got there yet. The question is about seeming and turning. Present continuous tense.
Well, yes, it seems like that and it has for a long time. It will take a while to get there, but its well on the way.

Why is the USA the worst country in the world? It is NOT the worst country in the world. Are you blind? The US is extremely wealthy, safe, free, and strong. There are countries far worse than the US. If you are unhappy living in the US because you think it is crappy, you should move to Mexico, Venezuela, Haiti, Somalia, North Korea, Jamaica, El Salvador, Egypt, Libya, Yemen, Pakistan, India (slums), Iraq, Syria, Brazil, Honduras, Suadi Arabia, Afghanistan, China, Ukraine, and Russia. Those places are worse than the US. The US is better off than those places. The murder, crime, and terrorism rate is higher in most of those places. There is less freedom. So if ever complain the US, you are being an ungrateful cry baby. Be thankful for heavens sake.
