It’s super strange to me to shower in the morning… that means you accumulate dirt and sweat all day, and then sleep in your bed like that? Meaning you sleep uncomfortable, and dirty your bed. Seems like a waste of time, water, soap, and lotion (because you know your skin is taking a beating from so much soap). ·Take a shower before bed to wash off the day. ·Change sheets every 2 weeks or so. ·You always have a clean bed because you shower before you get in it and you change the sheets regularly, so why take a shower when you wake up? ·If you need to be invigorated or get your blood flowing to wake up more easily do some pushups, jumping jacks, or any other type of cardio. You aren't dirty from sleeping, so no shower is needed.
Isn't this just logical thinking??

But I totally understand after so many years the cultural desire to be clean before sleeping. Since the sheets of a bed are not washed as often, the oil from a dirty head and bacteria from vaginal discharge, fromunda cheese and ass oil are not desirable. Makes a lot of sense. It’s just that bed head that Chinese themselves have no problem with. Flossing the teeth would be a good addition to the Chinese before-bed tradition as well as chronic halitosis in the workplace is rampant.

there are pros and cons to both. If I'm single I tend to only shower in the morning. If I'm with a Chinese girl, I do a full shower with soap and shampoo at night and only do a quick rinse shower in the morning. My biggest argument against only showering at night is that do you not use the bed for nightly fun activities? Do you not sweat during such activities? Night showers helps with keeping you and the sheets clean but a shower in the morning guarantees that you will be clean before heading out no matter how much you sweat in the bed sheets at night.

I've actually had the debate with some western colleagues who seem to think I'm disgusting for not taking a morning shower but they don't shower after sweating all day? Besides I sleep in a cool air conditioned room. Also, my work starts early so I like to out of bed and out the door within 10 minutes, whereas the morning showerers are getting up at 5 30am just to fit it in.
Ih the UK the bed sheets are heavy and we often sleep with heating on, it's easy to wake up feeling sweaty, but it's different when you sleep with a thin blanket under AC.
