It's ironic the US and India now both see infrastructure as prerequisite to future development. Ironic because we were all told that China's massive Infrastructure drive decades ago were a waste. Next time, we should all listen to our ownselves and not foreign so-called experts. I have been to China and their infrastructure are fantastic and they brought progress even to desert and mountain regions. Let me assure you india will definitely become developed nation even though we Inch closer to it we don't say we are developed because we will not get facilities under developing countries and may have more burden and sanctions..Let me say that india will definitely leave behind every country in the world in Road, railway and metro..we have world's longest railway platformhubballi Karnataka, highest tunnel atal tunnel, fastest metro station kanpur, we are building 1000km metro in 18 cities highest in the world..we have so many world records in roads, longest, largest, highest and fastest road construction...Nitin Gadkari is doing great job we are constructing daily 30 plus kilometres..we are lagging in bullet train since it has no major points to prove that will economically helps us, but still long way to go...we are in top 5 in metros top 3 in roads and railways..we are building 100 smart cities..

Correction: Budget won't be reduced in the fourth year, fiscal deficit will be. You can keep increasing budget and keep reducing the fiscal deficit if your revenues are growing faster than your expenses.
