You’ve never eaten a strawberry until you’ve eaten a Yunnan grown strawberry. It’s intensely red and the flavour is really quite a lot better than say Japanese strawberries. The temperature is cool in the mornings and evenings but hot in the afternoons.

As we know they chose the latter, unfortunately for my Grandad, stationed in Singapore at the time…..

ALL parts of Japan are cheap. Even Kobe beef (all you can eat) can be less than USD$40. I travel extensively in Japan and seafood is cheap all over especially along the coast. I never had a bad meal in Japan.
I prefer Hokkaido the best for their seafood - things like uni and crabs are cheaper there too
