But in the case of Korean. Do you feel they are celebrating when they are on their knees and with a white band and dark clothing. We were happy for her and to send her spirit off this way. Cantonese call it 笑喪 Siu song, or laughing funeral in a direct translation. It's a common practice in Cantonese community when the person dies at very old age. Not sure if people in other regions practice the same. Mind you, it was in the 60’s. Not sure if it still this way
