I’ve seen much better landings with gear malfunctions or no extended gear at all. From the video it looks like the speed was too high and the plane touched the runway too far. My opinion is that the pilot lost his cool or had poor training for emergency situations.

Why wasn’t there fire trucks there hosing down the runway and the belly of that aircraft? They could have had trucks stationed that blasted it as it went by. Lots of time as they were circling and preparing for the belly landing.
