There is also too much corruption in the US military procurement system. Fixing this is a very tall order, and most likely will not succeed as there are too many special interests and congress critters who feed on the current mess. They will fight tooth and nail to keep it this way. Their answer for this will be as always: throw way more money for the same trash, then announce to the world that the US military is the best just because its outspends everyone else. This is the argument of idiots.
