Most likely a Fighter Bomber. It can fight, but its main jobs is as bomber, not an air superiority. The air superiority job is probably delegated to the J50.

This is most definitely not a 6th gen aircraft. This looks to be on par with what the United States was prototyping in the mid 1990s with yf-23 and the bird of prey concept. This is probably China's first true 5th gen aircraft frx. It looks good but clunky and given its three engine design is probably still using a modified Chinese WS12 domestic engine. China has had several issues developing engines with thrust to weight TWR on par with the west or russian jet engines. Overall looks neat but probably 20 years behind anything truly 6th gen

Same air intake issue - pulling positive Gs will result in messing up air intake airflow, so it's not a dogfighter. This looks like a "stealthy" fighter/bomber. Like a toned down and much cheaper F-35, meaning it will rely on electronics, weapons range and stealth more than on anything else. To call this "fifth genetation fighter" is a bad joke unless the whole world re-defined what a fighter is.
