Nobody knows the day or hour of His return. Not even the Son or the angels in heaven, only the Father. Several weeks ago at church the pastor told us not to believe other people who think they know when He's coming back.
When He does come back, He’ll separate His believers from non-believers, and He’ll send away the non-believers into eternal punishment but take believers to eternal life. Every wrong will be made right, and sin, evil, and the bad things of the world will be no more. In the end, He’ll make a new Heaven and a new earth, which will last forever and ever.
Keep awake therefore, for you do not know the day or hour of His return. He may come back at any time, so we must all be ready.

Alas, most people MISS this (The Bible hints at this fact by stating He arrives like a thief in the night), and any thief worth the title is not going to alx people to his presence right away, not without thorough investigation, and in Christ's case, not without deep meditation and prayer…but still, even the most devout believers, miss it.

Jesus himself said ‘soon,’ about 2000 years ago. It does lead one to think, “What does ‘soon’ mean to someone who spent billions of years making the universe?” And maybe plan to live a full life without being living witnesses to that day. We will all see it in the afterlife, so you're not missing it.
As for when, Jesus instructs that no man knows—not even him—but only his father. He tells us not to follow people who claim to know. It will come suddenly, people will not be prepared.
What will everything be like when he comes back?
The day of will be quite spectacular. According to prophecy, he will descend from the clouds (as an adult) presumably around Jerusalem. It will probably be a stop work sort of affair, if as the scxture says, “every knee shall bow and every tongue confess he is the Christ.” In other words, you won't miss it. Everyone will be watching live feeds on their phones.
What will he do?
The prophecies say that he will rule for a thousand years. They are light on the specifics of that rule.
Will the world be any different?
Well, the wicked will be removed. Not sure how many people that is, but that could be substantial. That will fundamentally change global politics and might have a huge impact on industry. Quality of life is largely derived from economic output and with a large drop in that output, there would be some serious changes needed in both small and large scales.
At the same time, we are talking about God on earth, so who knows what miracles and new technologies might be introduced? And a world without war? That’s a wildly different scenario than most people are familiar with.

In Christianity, as I understand it, the ultimate failure of human civilization is inevitable due to the inherent frailty of our human condition. It was never intended to be go on forever. However, the time is not set in stone. We could prevent the apocalypse and forestall the return of Christ.
Christ will return when Civilization has passed the point of no return. When we have poisoned the earth, destroyed our knowledge, tainted and corrupted everything causing global chaos to erupt and a new authoritarian power to arise, traditionally considered the “Anti-Christ”.
The anti-Christ would likely come to power with a strong mandate to correct monumental injustices and confront pervasive corruption. He would likely be a familiar person to several generations. He would be persecuted and only come out stronger. The corruption he exposes, in its assault on him, would only propel him to greater heights. He would start out as a sincere hero and champion. But the forces against him, once they lost control to him, would then focus all of their energy on pushing him over the edge into falling from grace and becoming the anti-Christ….
No idea who I could be talking about…. But his full name means “ruler of the world, ordained by God, that conquers all”….

I can tell you what “I believe” will happen, what things will be like and what and when and all that, but please, keep in mind, whenever someone gets into a future event, it could be wrong or somewhat flawed in their explanation of, and I will do my best to separate what should be considered factual or almost fact, and the other things which are a guesstimate or what could be downright wrong…We all (christians- followers of jesus; mean well whenever we are confronted with the soon coming or return of Jesus Christ….And it should be exactly that; “SOON” and that is with 80-90 per cent accuracy, I strongly believe. I suppose the very next part of this to be debated; is; whats soon? Yes? And my response to that is from right now- next year, two years at the very most within 95% accuracy. I must leave myself an out, because I am not God and I don't claim to be hearing directly from God, but, in the book of acts in the new Testament God declares he will be giving out dreams and visions, and I believe it is for this very purpose. To know about the end- times, as these days are called which we currently are living in..that's in chapter 1or 2 of acts.
So, what will it be like? It shouldn't be much different than what we see right now. Theres a good, to strong and some say, “very strong” chance, or high probability of WW3 Beginning, even though others might sy that it has begun. Now, this I am saying is what it will be like before, or prior to; His return. The important thing to remember here, is that after, and shortly after, things most likely will be chaotic upon the world.
Yes that's right, most likely and once again I will say with 75 % certainty, the world could go from relatively calm or care free environments in most of the world but, “not in middle east countries”, and “not israel”, like it is right now as I write this, to chaos within minutes or hours after Jesus comes, but this will not be a visible arrival on earth…the next occurance should be, coming as far as the clouds. Allow me to say, the apostle Paul, was given or told a secret, to tell the gentile world, following the rejection from the Jewish people. Jesus the Messiah to the Jewish people, was obviously rejected by the jews, yes?
Now the way he shows himself and I'm speaking of “the next event”is by removing this group of gentile believers fom the earth. It's called “the rapture”, and there have been at least 7 individual raptures, from Enoch to now, but this rapture with the gentile church, will be so massive an event, it could set off earthquakes and power outages world wide, and domesticated animals will also be removed because God will display to the non believing world, his dis pleasure with them.
Now, although this is how I am explaining it, am I 100% certain of this? No, I'm not but I'm pretty sure this is how it's going to be.
And even so, with this event world wide, this should make people all over the world say,” Oh shit, but I do believe in you Jesus, I do…
In his Mercy, people can still be saved but, the world, the devil, and all the remaining evil will try to steal that, and will mostly succeed, but, if you want to learn more you need to accept Jesus, read revelation but pray before you do, and ask the he give you the understanding.

Just like all the other religious texts of the worlds religions, all was made up to control early man and keep the early civilization together.
