i’m from xinjiang where Uyghurs live. i’m also from a muslim ethnic minority in china and i can tell you that things are better now. a lot of our biggest celebs in china are Uyghur, they are very much loved by the people for their culture and beauty. the govt does discriminates against all of its citizens not just Uyghurs, i mean look at HK for example. it’s getting better tho. don’t use my people’s suffering as a “gotcha” anymore.
