That has brought tears to my eyes. When my mother died in February 2010, my father was devastated. He couldn''t accept that the centre of his universe was no longer there. His heart was broken and he died in May 2010.
I am thankful that I lived with them instead of having to rely upon a camera, but I know that many are unable to do so. However, make your best efforts to spend as much time as you can with parents and grandparents. Nothing can replace them, and after 11 years I still grieve. There is a hole in my soul that can never be filled.
My blessings to this caring granddaughter and to her grandfather. May you have many more hours when you can be together.

This breaks my heart because my grandparents left this world in the recent years. My grandpa had alzheimer, his condition deteriorated so fast, but despite of all of that, he professed his love for my grandma a lot, he was such a romantic man, a very tough and strict man who only showed his soft side to grandma. My grandma was a strong woman, she couldn''t handle loneliness well, she often got lonely after my grandpa was gone, it got worse when my father (her eldest son and also second child) died, half a year after my grandpa''s death. Over a year later, she succumbed to old age, she often said at her age, her only true friend is my grandpa. And once my grandpa and father left, she was often alone. My auntie had different inside clock than her, so they only talked in the afternoon (since my aunt immediately fell asleep after 8).
It''s just sad to witness old people fading away...
