this really hurt me, mainly because himeko showed up again and whatnot, but also because the way HoD views the world and humans was the same way I viewed humanity a long time ago.
And it was after hearing kianas speech about how there were people who helped her grow, was when I realized I was somewhat like her. Emphasis on somewhat. And after hearing Fu hua and Bronya say how Kiana was powerful and strong made me realize I have people who think of me the same way. It's like this short just slapped me in the face with its time to grow up and let go of the past.
I really appreciate Mihoyo for what they give us regarding Honkai Impact.

Just finished watching this. Literally in tears by the end. Stunning music, beautiful animation, and amazing character development. I've known Kiana since the GGZ days, and it feels like time has passed so quickly. It's honestly amazing and inspiring to see how far she has gone, and the fact that we can watch it happen with these beautifully animated shorts.

Yeah, the old kiana versus new kiana is INSANE, but in a bitter sweet way.

It's quite ironic to see the child that hated humans and the world because that is what she was shown(like HOD said, the world is ugly cause that is what they've been shown) grow up to be this kind of character, it's crazy how a single difference of viewpoint can drastically change a person, I mean they just literally threw her in a different body and raised her to be a different person, yet the fact remains that she is still sirin, from a being that wanted to destroy the world and was affraid of dying, to a person who would do anything even face her own destruction jus to protect those she loves, mihoyo really knows how to make a character, all it took was Himeko and he friends to show her a different side of the world, even if she's aware of the ugly side of it, she'll cherish how they look on the world because that's what they taught her.

Well it´s not so far of from reality. People might have similar personalitys and still develop to be totally different. The reason for that is experience. Never forget that HoV Sirin is more or less just a child that got experimented on for the majority of her lifetime. She never experienced happiness and comradery like this.
