To tag any one book as the best book would be very unfair on my side. Books are storehouses of knowledge. The moment you open a book, you are bombarded with gallons and gallons of information, irrespective of the genre. However, there are so many books which inspired me to the core, like many other people.
The Alchemist: This book inspired me emotionally. I read it because it was pretty famous, but I never knew that it really would have such a big impact. I'm not being hyperbolic, but that book is fabulous even though it's simply written. It has a very simple story but it gives you a whole new perspective to life.

The White Tiger: This book is seriously a masterpiece. But I'm very sure I have different reasons. The white tiger, for me, revealed the basic mentality and psychological set up of a driver or say any random person on the street. It says a lot about a person who is observant and whose mind works in ways which we can't think of or as in most cases, we don't pay heed to. So the depiction of the mindset was outstanding.
Why I assassinated Gandhi: From the time I was a little child, adulation for Mahatma Gandhi floated in the air. However, this book gave me a chance to probably think about the shortcomings of Gandhiji. This book didn't really make me detest him since I was pre-warned , not to get anguished or radicalised or biased. Although, the book made me form a balanced opinion. It taught me that even celebrated figures aren't very right always and we shouldn't listen to one side of the story, we should also search for the other.

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck: I know, I know, the title is not too pleasant, maybe even odious to some, but this book is really life changing. It's written by a man who didn't have a life as that of a bed of roses. He did not have a very good life but he transformed it into a magnificent one! And the way he wrote the book it's truly appreciable and amazing. I strongly recommend it to people from all walks of life. The title might sound vulgar, also to some, but don't judge it. Trust me on this.
How to Memorise Anything: It's by Aditi Singhal. She's phenomenal. She tells you in the beginning, how she was a forgetful housewife and how she went through a metamorphosis to become a Guinness World Record Holder. She gives you great techniques to improve memory. Some of them might appear kiddish but they sure work. (Now I look forward to read her book 'How to Become a Human Calculator'. Since I'm a math-o-phobic, I really need to read it!!!) Honestly, Its a great great great book.

Rich Dad And Poor Dad by Robert Kyosaki
It is one of the best book i have ever read. It deals with the financial problem that we all face due to the lack of financial education. Sir has explain this with the help of a story. A story of two boys who are willing to fulfil their wishes which everyone desire in adolescence. One boy dad is poor so he rely on one basic principle. Accademic study leads to a wealthy and happy life. He think getting a higher paid job will solve all their problem. But other boy dad is rich and he has another perspective toward life. He thinks accadmeic knowledge is important but financial knowledge is also important to survive and led a wealthy life. He explain why many rich men unable to handle their money finally get corroded. People think getting a high value job will solve their bill problems but one must learn how to spend money. Everyone know how to earn money but very few of them knows how to spend that money so that they wont trap in a Rat race. He explain difference between assets and liabilities. He expain all this facts in a realistic way to the kids. This book is meant for everyone.
Robert Kyosaki

The most complete and perfected account of rationality I have read, and I hold almost no hopes to ever read a better and a more systematic book, Ethics by Baruch Spinoza. If one is warmhearted man of faith, the book will drop you cold, but the faith will remain.
This quote bears enormous weight for anyone who has chewed his way through: "I do not presume to have discovered the best philosophy, but I know that I understand the true one." —It may seem arrogant and pompous, but, in truth, it is nothing of the sort and indeed it is hard to refute. The sheer order, rationality and systematicity is unparalleled. One just has to embrace the first few steps and the road will be clear there on, and the first steps are nothing but sensible, so shall your stride determine to where you will come. Also, the books is fairly linear and easily followed with concentration and diligent reading.
Clear your mind before, —if you have and idea of Abrahamic God, let it rest for the time being, or read some presocratics as in introduction to get a sense of what a word God means here, so the mind will formulate an opinion independent of your current view, and compare them afterwards.

“God is immanent in the rational order of the universe; the rational order which is expressed through the natural world and in human thought. If something exists other than God, it is either within and dependent upon God, in which case it is merely a finite expression of God.” —As Spinoza puts it: "God is, and acts solely by the necessity of His own nature; He is the free cause of all things."
Read these lines, writ in 17. century. "…men believe themselves to be free, simply because they are conscious of their actions, and unconscious of the causes whereby those actions are determined."
He also sets out to refute Descartes, arguing the mind and the body are the same thing, two aspect but of a single reality, of single substance, as previous demonstrated as God. God is therefore the reality of extended things and thinking/mental things. And in this differs from strict materialism, insofar as it recognises both, one cannot be the other, but both are manifestation of the same, —God. It also means his rationality is in no competition with empiricism.

I still have my share of problems with it, like emotions, of which he says: "We feel strongly because we understand dimly." — I am not ready for reconciliation, not yet. And, ultimately: "So every man, according to his emotions, judges a thing to be good or bad, useful or useless."
If I were send to live in a cave, I would took two books with me, Ethics and Keats. One to disturb, to think and challenge, the other to feel and muse. I still have miles to go, and my acceptance with it is not final. —But it is the closest thing of which I can say I have come to something, and it is something.

The Books Space
I read a lot of novels be it fiction, non fiction, webnovels, philosophical, history. Here are my top picks:
× The Alchemist- My first pick. This book is simple but profound. To tell the truth I didn't understand it when I first read.
×The Rise and Fall of the Third Riech- A really great history book, chronicling 2nd World War and Nazi Germany written in a really interesting way.
×World War Z- Written by Max Brooks, one of the most realistic zombie documentary books ever written. Reading the accounts makes me feel I am transported to a zombie apocalypse!
×The Da Vinci Code- My first book ever read in the series. It redefined historical fiction. The story is a quasi historical thriller that one on the search of truth of the mythic Mary Magdaline.
×The Tale of Two Cities- The starting line “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair” says a lot about the magnificence of Charles Dickens.
The Lord of the Mysteries- One of the best Steampunk Victorian era fantasy ever written. Though it's a webnovel the quality of writing and the stroyline says it all.

Following 3 books:
Zero to One by Peter Thiel
Here’s some quote from this book:
“Every moment in business happens only once. The next Bill Gates will not build an operating system. The next Larry Page or Sergey Brin won’t make a search engine. And the next Mark Zuckerberg won’t create a social network. If you are copying these guys, you aren’t learning from them.”
“Brilliant thinking is rare, but courage is in even shorter supply than genius.”
“Customers won’t care about any particular technology unless it solves a particular problem in a superior way. And if you can’t monopolize a unique solution for a small market, you’ll be stuck with vicious competition.”
“Our task today is to find singular ways to create the new things that will make the future not just different, but better—to go from 0 to 1… The essential first step is to think for yourself. Only by seeing our world anew, as fresh and strange as it was to the ancients who saw it first, can we both re-create it and preserve it for the future.”

“Leanness is a methodology, not a goal. Making small changes to things that already exist might lead you to a local maximum, but it won’t help you find the global maximum.”
The best thing I did as a manager at PayPal was to make every person in the company responsible for doing just one thing. Every employee’s one thing was unique, and everyone knew I would uate him only on that one thing.”
“What valuable company is nobody building? Every correct answer is necessarily a secret: something important and unknown, something hard to do but doable. If there are many secrets left in the world, there are probably many world-changing companies yet to be started.”
“You can have agency not just over your own life, but over a small and important part of the world. It begins by rejecting the unjust tyranny of chance. You are not a lottery ticket.”
These are my fav ones.

2.Connect The Dots Quotes by Rashmi Bansal
Here’s some quotes from this book:
“You don't need a fancy degree to dream big and make it happen. It's all in your head , your heart , your hands.”
“Some people discover who they are and what they want to do at 18, others discover the answer at 26. Still others never figure it out all their lives. We all germinate (or fail to) at different times.”
“I am a dreamer. I do a lot of things which people consider illogical but for me there is a very clear logic to what I do and why I do. I live by my convictions.” The”
“The truth is, there is a plan. A bigger plan. Every experience in your life – whether ‘good’ or ‘bad’ – has made you what you are.”
“Spread happiness among people. Ultimately, that’s the most valuable thing. Whatever amount of money you have, if you do not have peace, it is of no use.”
“asking the right question is more important than having the right answer.”
2.Rashmi Bansal

3.The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A F*ck” by Mark Manson:
I saw this book on the E-Com website Amazon once, and i was pretty impressed by the summery of this book. So i googled it and found a PDF.
Here’s some quotes from this book i would like to share
“Nobody else is ever responsible for your situation but you. Many people may be to blame for your unhappiness, but nobody is ever responsible for your unhappiness but you.”
“It’s growth that generates happiness, not a long list of arbitrary achievements.”
“Fuck positivity,” Manson says. “Let’s be honest; sometimes things are fucked up and we have to live with it.”
“Giving too many fucks is bad for your mental health. It causes you to become overly attached to the superficial and fake, to dedicate your life to chasing a mirage of happiness and satisfaction. The key to a good life is not giving a fuck about more; it’s giving a fuck about less, giving a fuck about only what is true and immediate and important.”

“Self-improvement is really about prioritizing better values, choosing better things to give a fuck about. Because when you give better fucks, you get better problems. And when you get better problems, you get a better life.”
“Most of us struggle throughout our lives by giving too many fucks in situations where fucks do not deserve to be given.”
“No matter where you go, there’s a five-hundred-pound load of shit waiting for you. And that’s perfectly fine. The point isn’t to get away from the shit. THe point is to find the shit you enjoy dealing with.”
“We suffer for the simple reason that suffering is biologically useful. It is nature’s preferred agent for inspiring change.”
“If you’re stuck on a problem, don’t sit there and think about it; just start working on it. Even if you don’t know what you’re doing, the simple act of working on it will eventually cause the right ideas to show up in your head.”
“If someone is better than you at something, then it’s likely because she has failed at it more than you have.”
“The rare people who do become truly exceptional at something do so not because they believe they’re exceptional. On the contrary, they become amazing because they’re obsessed with improvement. And that obsession with improvement stems from an unerring belief that they are, in fact, not that great at all. People who become great at something become great because they understand that they’re not already great – they are mediocre, they are average – and that they could be so much better.”

“Commitment makes decision-making easier and removes any fear of missing out; knowing that what you already have is good enough, why would you ever stress about chasing more, more, more again? Commitment allows you to focus intently on a few highly important goals and achieve a greater degree of success than you otherwise would.”
Travelling To Newer Places Changes Your Perception About Living A Certain Lifestyle
“Much as the pain of touching a hot stove teaches you not to touch it again, the sadness of being alone teaches you not to do the things that made you feel so alone again. Emotions are simply biological signals designed to nudge you in the direction of beneficial change.”
“You and everyone you know are going to be dead soon. And in the short amount of time between here and there, you have a limited amount of fucks to give. Very few, in fact. And if you go around giving a fuck about everything and everyone without conscious thought or choice—well, then you’re going to get fucked.”
So, that’s it. I suggest you to read the 3rd one, it’s really good.
