It should correctly be called China”s Northeast” and not North China. The NE China has its own culture and regional dialect. People proudly proclaim a Northeastern origin which connotes its own reputation.

I think China should negotiate the purchase of that territory. It was purchased by Russia during a weak time in the Chinese empire. I do not have to imagine that northern part of China. A friend of my wife lives in Mudanjiang, near that eastern border and just North of North Korea.

Russia stole the far north east from China … China should take back all its lands from past colonial Russian conquests. Japan has no capabilities to seize any lands outside their own islands. Poor demographics and virtually no military spending these past 80 years ensure they’ll won’t be a threat to Manaus China for a loooooong time.

Russia stole the far north east from China … China should take back all its lands from past colonial Russian conquests. Even today the entirety of Siberia and the eastern region of Russia are ethnic Chinese, despite all the efforts of Russia to send European settlers to those lands. I hope China has a plan to get back all its territories

Just give it time, Russian demographics are very poor and they have a lot of domestic problems. They won’t be able to hold it in a few decades or centuries. China knows this and is playing the long game
