Russia has been targeting Kyiy and major cities lately, but many areas of the countries are unaffected by war. As we speak people in some Ukrainian cities are partying and drinking in nightclubs.

But Ukraine chose this path itself, and Russia once again accepted the rules of the game. You want to bomb Belgorod and Kursk, then you'll get strikes on Odessa, Kharkiv, and Kyiv. All we see now is that Russia could have effectively acted like NATO, but chose not to for humanitarian reasons.

For some reason, today they don't find it funny. If the missiles you're talking about are launched at Moscow, Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities will be reduced to rubble. But most importantly, if these missiles are used with the help of Western specialists (which is logical), it's entirely possible that these countries will be attacked as well. The West understands this perfectly well and is afraid.

Looks like Europe has to give Ukraine the missiles to put Moscow in darkness. Russians will only listen to violence. Sad as this war will destroy Russia. Please negotiate for peace before another million Russians are turned into fertilizer.

@pjhgerlachAll of Russia's actions are retaliatory. Russia could have plunged Ukraine into chaos from the very beginning of the war, but it chose not to for humanitarian reasons. However, Ukraine's actions and the constant escalation are forcing it to do so. Just recently, Ukrainians laughed when Belgorod and Kursk were bombed, calling Russia a paper tiger. For some reason, today they don't find it funny. If the missiles you're talking about are launched at Moscow, Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities will be reduced to rubble. But most importantly, if these missiles are used with the help of Western specialists (which is logical), it's entirely possible that these countries will be attacked as well. The West understands this perfectly well and is afraid.

@karhutitan Sure, Russia therefore has no agency at all, and is in fact fully controlled by external forces, if all they ever do is reacting to something. That certainly makes anything but sense.
