Until the Chinese figure out it out and have their own doctrine and operations. It's only natural. It's rather rare on the world stage to have EMALS and stealth fighter jets. Give them another 5 - 10 years, they'll iron it out. Not sure why people mock China though, the pace of China's progression is rather shocking. They operate on the principal of crawl, walk, and run. They're already at the walking phase in termof Navy modernization, some aspects they're at the run phase, Type 005 destroyers.

In order to accommodate the vertical takeoff fan for the marine variant for example, it had to opt for the single engine. They're already at the walking phase in termof Navy modernization, some aspects they're at the run phase, Type 005 destroyers.
