People think that God doesn’t exist because they have not learnt about God properly. It’s the same in many other fields also. Due to ignorance and a poor education people make mistakes. They are sincere, and they actually believe what they think is true, but they are wrong.Without learning properly about God people jump to conclusions. They think there is a problem of evil. They think that no one has ever seen God. They think that there is no evidence of God. They think that ‘ancient’ Gods don’t exist anymore. They think that this world is supposed to be a nice place where everyone can enjoy life and be happy, and if God doesn’t facilitate that then He doesn’t exist.They think so many things, but just because they are sincere in what they think that doesn’t mean that they are right.God is real, He visits the planet from time to time. He communicates with people on the planet. He arranges everything that happens and He leaves instructions on how to know Him. He arranges the creation of the universe, He maintains it and He destroys it. He is present in the heart of every living entity and fulfills their desires with an impartial attitude. If you don’t want to see evidence of God you won’t. If you do want to then you will. This is all arranged by God. He doesn’t care if people acknowledge Him or not. Material nature acts and reacts without caring about a person’s beliefs. If a pious person touches fire they will get burnt the same as if a sinful person does. This is controlled by the laws of material nature. If a person acts kindly to others then in a future life others will be kind to them, and if they act cruelly towards others then in the future others will be cruel to them. This is controlled by material nature which doesn’t care what a person believes, only how they act.Once God is removed then everything falls apart. Without God there is no explanation of why everything exists. There is no explanation of what to do with your life. There is no explanation of what is beyond this universe. There is no explanation of life and consciousness and what happens after death. There is no explanation of why the world works the way it does. In fact very little is known about how the world works at all. There are simply theories and hypotheses that can’t be tested and can’t be proved. Without God there is no sensible explanation for what we see.Some people aren’t bothered by not having decent answers to questions. They don’t spend much time thinking about them just as animals don’t think about them. A few are interested but if they don’t believe that God exists, then for the most part they listen to what others say about life and the universe. Very few have the luxury of being able to investigate for themselves. Mostly they are busy earning and spending money for themselves and their families, and they let others investigate and then listen as they tell them what they have discovered. The days go past and people busy themselves with their job and their home and having fun and enjoying the wonderful entertainment opportunities that are available today, spending their money and looking forward to something in the future or rejoicing that they have removed a problem from the past.It never occurs to them that there might be a reason why humans can understand and discuss philosophical and metaphysical questions while animals can’t. Many of them are happy to call themselves animals, (but it’s best not for you or I to do that, then it’s taken as an insult). It never occurs to them that thousands of years ago people were smarter than they are today. A modern conservative estimate is that mankind has been on the planet for 200,000 years, and now in the last 100 years we have suddenly become enlightened in the matter of God? As the planet becomes less and less habitable due mankind’s wonderful progress people still think that we are more intelligent than those men 10 - 15,000 years ago, who believed in God, and respected nature as a living force and took care to preserve the natural order of things for future generations.This ‘I don’t believe God exists’ movement will be short lived, not more than one or two generations, because what intelligent person will believe that there is no inherent purpose to life, no inherent morality to life, no inherent order to the universe, no way to guarantee a safe and happy life for themselves and descendents, and no way to know what lies beyond our senses?

Interesting enough, gods are dying for millennium, one after another, still dying, millions believed in old gods, now dead. Now billions believe in thousands gods, and there are some many because no one is real enough to survive alone. They are all dying and being replaced with simple and pure science discoveries. Gods are fully necessary to fulfill the holes of ignorance and lack of reasons for the life itself, to give hope and obedience for the in need. As lucid answers are being acquired, less darkness covers the ignorance, and the world becomes more illuminated by the knowledge and certainty of the real answers about life origins and evolution. Religions are starving at the blx of its own demise, only ditatorial religions that forbid questioning and intellectual discoveries still propagating its crude dominant force. A good religion should provide freedom by faith and knowledge, not slaving its followers by force and fear to be killed if questioning. Those are, of course, not good or real gods, they were created by the human evil and madness, to enforce artificial power through a bad fearful religion, that only the weak would submit. It may take a while, but those will disappear in the shadows of ignorance, as usual, since nothing is forever, specially what lacks the truth. The world never had so many questioning the truth about all gods, atheism was never so strong and continues to grow. It is just a matter of time. The financial exploration of the weak believers in favor of the religions and the ones controlling it, is more than proof of the discredit and real reasons behind it. Next time your God comes to visit this planet, call CNN to interview him, they are prone to fake news, anyway.

I know some history. I know that something can’t die unless it is alive, so if the Greek and Egyptian gods have died, they must have been alive once. So the question is who saw them die?

Well, yeah, maybe in your language “to die” only applies to a living thing. Even in this case “ideas” can die, and never being alive. Radiation decay is a way for die. We can say a mechanical or electronic device is dead, even not being alive. But that''s okay. You got the idea.

All people are atheists. Mankind has concocted at least 2500 gods over the ages. Most people don''t believe in 2499 of them -- making them atheists many times over.
People generally only believe in the one or many god(s) they were taught to believe in as children. And that god, only seems to exist because the person believes in it. In effect, whatever you believe in seems to be true. That''s because the mind interprets reality to conform to its held notions.That and that alone is why gods seem to exist. In reality, in this interactive venture we call life, there is no external causality, no external creator.If you look at your life without beliefs to distort your perception, you''ll notice that you attract patterns. Your health, your relationships, your success or failure all unfold in distinct patterns. You create/attract those patterns and do so based on your own inner nature. In my books, I explain how to delve into the subconscious, find inner roots to outer problems and change them there. When you''ve eliminated the inner mechanisms within your own mindset, the problematic situations you''d been attracting change in response.That inner-outer connection has been in place your whole life. But you haven''t noticed it, because you learned growing up that external forces and sources make things happen to you: gods, luck, fate, the government, bacteria, conditions, bad people, rich people, fortune -- all these are blamed for causing events.As life impacts you, though, it was your own propensities that attracted both the good and bad.So, most in western culture learn via Christianity that there''s a creator god who made things, including you, and still interferes in life''s flow. Once you believe that, it seems true.Many people realized through analysis or experience that, whoa!, there really isn''t any Big Brother out there making things happen. Shedding archaic religion, you pass into an atheist phase. Generally, you buy into science. But it is also a belief structure that looks valid -- as long as you believe in it.Science lays causality on external forces and sources. Most atheists, in my experience, shed religion, but get hooked by science.If you keep going, you''ll notice that you, yourself create your experiential reality. How we became Atheists is varied:1) some Atheists became an Atheist after years of being a Theist but finding too many contradictions and outright impossibilities within their faith... this was my path.2) born in a country where religion is not important (see Jonas Linder''s response for a list of these countries).3) you were born in a country that forbids religions like North Korea (yes I know publically they say they have freedom of religion but they also claim there is freedom of speech so...).4) your parents were atheist so they were not raised with a religious dogma but learned to question and seek their own answers...this was my son''s path, my daughter was a Wiccan but is currently not in a coven.5) some were raised by Theists but never bought into any of it. They may have played the part of a Theist but they never really believed.

实际上我们所有人要么是有神论者，要么是无神论者
无神论确实有一个优势：那就是它比有神论少一个公理.
有神论多了一个公理，那就是：上帝创造了这个宇宙.
许多无神论者可能会喜欢奥卡姆剃刀定律：“在相互竞争的假设中，应该选择假设最少的那个。”
具有讽刺意味的是，这个定律是由有神论者出于有神论目的而创造的.
这个定律，很多人觉得它是显而易见的正确的，但这并不是真的正确.
事实上，这个定律出问题的地方是：该在什么场合应用它.
因为，你既然是用这个定律来否定上帝，
用这个定律来否定上帝在操纵世间的一切，
那么，这就让我们认为：自然是有法则的（毕竟，这个定律就是一个自然法则了）.
你看，只要有神论的人，把信仰上帝当做第一个公理，那么无神论者就再也无法反驳他.
而无神论者，不承认这个第一公理的话，那么有神论这也无法反驳他.
所以，归结起来就是：你信仰的，就是不言而喻的.
而我，碰巧相信一个我认为是不证自明的上帝.
然而，你恰巧不信它而已.
我对上帝的理解是，它要么是从宇宙之外开始创造我们这个宇宙(自然神论)，
要么，如果宇宙本身就包括外在的，那么上帝就是与宇宙一体的(泛神论).
换句话说，我把“上帝”定义为创造了奇点或为大爆炸提供了起源的奇点本身.
当然，就连我对上帝的概念也可能是错误的——毕竟，我们的大脑可能都是井底之蛙.
