Sorry but that's not bad PR. Cairo has so much potential but it is genuinely terrible for tourists, especially only female tourists. I'm not even talking about something extreme but the amount of harassment for female tourists is just awful.

You will be harassed as a tourist on pretty much any place with a lot of tourism (refer to the Sacre Coeur in Paris, which is actually violent instead of just annoying), but it seems like every woman going to Egypt had do endure some instance of unwarranted sexual attention.
Egypt is still high in my list but as a father of a little girl, it is the only place that makes me travel like a fat guy from the US, paying a local guide to be our chaperone.

Egypt doesn't have to be some advance country but i swear to god if Egypt just had the same development level as Jordan they would have 5 times as many tourists.
