Desi's are jumping up and down with little bit of new infra here and there where as west has been enjoying their developed statuses since ages. There are many many things that are wrong in India that will take decades if not centuries to get fixed including the corrupt, cunning, manipulative, hyper mindset of the masses..

The thing is we also contribute to the growth of your country america . because a large number of engineers there are Indian. I also went there in maryland for a project, and was very excited. And also your country has amazing nature. The natural beauty is amazing. Many similarities with India's natural beauty. But unfortunately in the work place the experience was not good. People were not outright racists but there were taunts going around, a bit of laugh behind my back. Also Making fun of India and a little bit of steriotyping like they would sometimes start a friendly discussion and then start taunting like does Indians really stink, is India really a shite hole. And some people were very rude , I couldn't understand the hate really. Before I went their I really thought that Indians are well respected because there are many Indians working in big sectors and industries there.

India is moving an elephant phase firmly and decisively making the right changes without shedding its rich and diverse culture and in the process advancing towards its obxtive of being the next superpower and being a responsible nation at the same time. Germany unfortunately looks worse since it let on all those migrants, otherwise its a lovely country let down by the leniency of government on those foreign migrants.

The definition of your recession is two consecutive quarters of economic contraction i.e. drop in GDP over 2 straight quarters in a year. If we apply your descxtion we are constantly in and out of it for the past few years. And that's why I feel angsty about Indian journalists, you get news without understanding the context and just jump to conclusions.
And what you say about vagrants, homeless, and beggars, I think your city administration and country's policies must be blamed here. When Amsterdam started having an out-of-control weed problem, they banned it on the streets. Now a month later, I don't smell it in the air like I used to before.

India's economy is mostly service based, our manufacturing sector is not very advanced also we currently we are trying to lure companies leaving china to set up factories here. The latter is has had like 50/50 win ratio from what we've seen.
India's slow and complicated bureaucracy, corruption and lack of specialised workers is a problem imo.
