My estimation is, Vietnam will become an “upper middle income country” in this year, while Philippines would still need 2-4 years to do so. I don’t understand why filipinos always love to talk BIG about themselves and look down on other SEA countries especially the developing ones and even calling us poor, despite the fact that they are actually poorer than us and their country’s development is lagging behind other ASEAN major countries as well. I should say that filipinos are the clowns of the SEA.
