the crazy thing about "if something happens to greenland, we'd get dragged in, so therefore we must take control of it" means that the new front line of the US shifts and invites us to get dragged in to other things. You know what's near greenland? iceland. what's near there? europe, then asia and africa. I really don't understand how running on nationalism and avoiding intervention in others' affairs includes trying to take more land, wouldn't it have just been better to maintain friendly relationships with other countries and just be that sleeping bear that russia and China don't want to wake? That's not true, we don't need to have higher prices. Drop the tariffs on China in the sectors where we plan to target the US exports, they basically make everything for the US anyway, and slowly develop the industries in Europe where we've allowed ourselves to lag behind, like the digital services he mentioned. We have no beef with China, at least not to the extent the US does. We have alternatives, it's the US that is being isolated.

That's not true, we don't need to have higher prices. Drop the tariffs on China in the sectors where we plan to target the US exports, they basically make everything for the US anyway, and slowly develop the industries in Europe where we've allowed ourselves to lag behind, like the digital services he mentioned. The US make a big mistake. Europe has many micro states(Monaco, Liechtenstein, Andora, Luxemburg, San Marino, The Vatican) and the exist for 100th of years. We respect there autonomy. That is what we find important.
