One thing I missed in this nice report, is the reason why China is so rapidly developing this technology. China has a declining population which brings challenges to maintain their production goals. Therefore China is now already anticipating on what will happen in 30 years and guarantee a smooth transition from humans to robots being able to keep on meeting their status as "factory of the world". While AI in the US is much more a digital platform which is developed for solving problems by creating chatbots etc, the focus in Chinese AI is much more on practical use of robotics to complete daily tasks autonomous.

We are at the first stages of artificial self replication, where we create robots to fit a world we have made to fit us as humans. While the U.S. and West wrestles with panic and fear of AI and robots, China moves forward waiting for returning customers to supply them with the goods. China took over the World in manufacturing and so they will with this. Of course we will once again hear about human rights and labor violations from the West which is just hot air. One thing I missed in this nice report, is the reason why China is so rapidly developing this technology. China has a declining population which brings challenges to maintain their production goals. Therefore China is now already anticipating on what will happen in 30 years and guarantee a smooth transition from humans to robots being able to keep on meeting their status as "factory of the world". While AI in the US is much more a digital platform which is developed for solving problems by creating chatbots etc, the focus in Chinese AI is much more on practical use of robotics to complete daily tasks autonomous.

besides that of which is the United States and our entitlement to Tesla and Mr. Musk's ownership. Disney theme parks are everywhere. Cruise ships are a luxury. Yada yada.. this is different. This is human reliance on robotics to make living easier and happier.

Why would you want a robot interviewing human .When this starts to happen it is the end for mankind. Nothing should stop human to human contact it is what make what we are.We putting to much faith in these technologies.
