China is only situationally aligned with Russia because of western ideology towards China. Chinese government inherently distrusts Russia and understands believes that Russia sees China as an ally of convenience rather than ideological allies. That’s not to say China wishes to aligns ideologically with the west.

China is only situationally aligned with Russia because of western ideology towards China. Chinese government inherently distrusts Russia and understands believes that Russia sees China as an ally of convenience rather than ideological allies. That’s not to say China wishes to aligns ideologically with the west.
