I think what needs to be overcome by our German government (or at least our chancellor) is the tendency to stick one's fingers in one's ears, sing "lalala" and pretend the problem isn't there in hopes it goes away.

in WW2, the germans captured many russian cannons. they had a factory created to produce ammunition for the cannons. i know we have companies that produce Ak bullets. they should produce ammunition to keep the artillery supplied, just like in ww2. there are a bunch of companies and manufacturers who can and should do this.

Tanks & cannons are (nowadays) pretty complex weapon-systems if to be used effectively. My guess is the Orks use some dissimilair ammo then the west, causing the gun or other rounds to fail when firing anything but that.
