Any employer knows that training new hires costs a lot of money and there's a length of time (anywhere from a few months to well over a year) that you have to keep an employee before you can say you didn't lose money by training them. This makes no sense - either economically or tactics-wise.

In india their is a norm to cause damage to public property including torching of buses and trains altogether as a symbol of protest. They cannot justify it by saying that we riot if they pass the bill.

We might not be the brightest bulb of democracy but if using forces to stop these are the only way, then it shall be the same.
Take singapore for example, if people disagree on a given policy with government, will they allow protestors to torch singapore subway or infrastructure of marina bay.

Hmmm I don't understand. I guess anyone young coming into the army is just training? They are not really soldiers? Is this for people who can't get into any university after high school and after 4 years they can go out with a nice resume. I don't think it's wrong for the government if they don't really want to hire more soldiers isn't it. They can also increase the requirements so after 4 years of training only the elite of the elite can enter the military and the others to back to civilian life.
