Thanks for the A2A.
Please note that the following is my personal view of both the countries. I am living in Germany for the last ~6 years. My brother lives in Canada with his family. Of the 2 countries, there are pros n cons depending on one’s perspective. I am Indian, so following is my take on these 2 countries.
Both countries offer :
High standard of living,
Safe culture and society,
Growth opportunities for those willing to work for it,
Work life balance,
Melting pot of different cultures,
Social security,
Health coverage with good facilities,

Lower tax rates,
Familiar food and festivals,
Jobs are not dependent on the language,
Proximity to USA,
Strong community ties,
The only major challenge I can think of is : Harsh winters.
(I am sure some will have more -ve points, but as I said earlier, this is what I choose to look at).

Benefits of Germany :
Work life balance,
Proximity to all the major European countries (I love to travel),
Lower cost of living,

The only major challenge is the language

Which one is a better country to migrate : your call.
Best wishes for the future!!
EDIT : Tax Rates in Germany v/s Canada :
A lot of the readers have shared their feedback that tax rates in Canada are comparable to Germany (or according to some, lower than Germany). For all of those, the 2019 highest personal income tax rates for both countries are :
Germany : 42% for income above 56k per annum,
Canada : 15% for first 47.6k and 20.5% for the next 47.6k (that is a cumulative salary of ~95.2k per annum).
In addition to above in Germany, there is a Solidarity Tax and Church Tax (only for Christians).
I hope this clarifies the topic of tax rates being similar/lower in Canada and Germany.

I am a naturalized Canadian of East Asian origin, and have lived in Germany, as well as both the English- and the French-speaking parts of Canada. Though Germany seems a nice place to visit and stay for a while, I would definitely prefer my own country or some other European countries, such as the UK, France, and the Netherlands, to Germany. Here are a few of my reasons.
It is much much easier for a visible minority like me to integrate into the Canadian society and succeed. Canada is known for its official multiculturalism, and makes great efforts to ensure that new immigrants embrace Canadian culture and become a part of it while still being able to retain their roots. Even long before I became a citizen, I was never asked questions like “How long are you going to stay in our country?” or “Are you going back to your country later?”. Many people would just assume that I was already a part of Canada. But I can’t say the same thing for Germany. I’ve heard too many stories from second-generation immigrants who were born and raised in Germany and spoke impeccable German that they did not feel well accepted by the German society and constantly felt like outsiders.
In general, I find Canadians are a lot more pleasant and easier to make friends with for me. I’m not saying that Germans are not nice. I just find them too reserved and a bit inapproachable. And I also find them to be less international as a people than Canadians are, so it was hard for me to befriend Germans. Seems to me that they only care about foreign cultures from the Anglosphere, that’s all. Cultures from the other countries, ok but not interested. When I was there, most of my friends were people from other countries. Canadians, however, tend to be more open to making friends with foreign immigrants. Both Anglo- and Franco-Canadians alike.

You have to be “white” in Germany, from “top" countries in the world to not be ignored by Germans in 21th century! I have dark skin, black hair, after a year I am running from all Germans and Germany! Even if I see them in other countries,I try to keep distance from them. I am a doctor,in Germany to treat german patient s but they treat me like shit, as I am there to hurt them. On steet, in Supermarkt they look me like they have seen alian from planet X! Most of them racists and antisocial. If you have dark skin go to Canada!

Both the countries are good for immigration but depends on what is your reason for moving. If you are looking for higher education Germany offers many interesting courses at low costs.
But for a job, I choose to apply to Canada because of the long term benefits that come with permanent residence. Quality healthcare system, free public education system along with plenty of social care facilities like maternity and disability perks
These reasons make Canada the best choice for living and working. Both the countries have their own strengths in terms of their immigration policies. Canada focuses more on the economic part by calling more skilled professionals under in-demand professions.
In many public universities of Germany overseas students do not need to pay tuition fees. Global giants like Volkswagen, BMW, Siemens, Deutsche Bank and Adidas are located in Germany. So if you think Canada is better for jobs even Germany is not far behind in that department.
If you go by the HDI or Human Development index Germany is ranked on the 9th place whereas Canada is ranked on the 15th place. Both have their own unique benefits but Canada is the most preferred choice as many of the people I personally know have chosen Canada.
Study each of these countries and research about them enough. I am sure you will know which country suits you best. As you know each person speaks from their own experience. Read enough and then make your own judgment.
This way or that way choosing the right country shapes your life direction. You can even go to both these nations and see yourself just like I did. Helps more from practical experience.

Which country is better to immigrate to Canada or Germany?
I have lived in both and I prefer Germany.
Careerwise Germany has a lot more opportunities and jobs. They also value your previous experience (In Canada you would start from scratch).
Quality of life is much higher in Germany and life is much cheaper.
You would have to learn German, but it's not that bad. Many people your age go there to work and after a couple of years are perfectly fluent.

There are many nice things being mentioned about Germany which are very accurate. But as being the child of a black foreigner in Germany and living here all my life, I wouldnt recommend coming here. German people aren't all terrible but there are many elderly people who will never accept you. After many years of living here my dad still does not feel accepted. After 20 years he never really got to feel fully integrated. It gets harder and harder every day. German laws and rules come in very big amounts and are very difficult to understand for some people. It especially gets hard if u don't get the right support. What I'm trying to say is that there are many wonderful things here and many benefits to help you live an easy life but those things are very hard to achieve without any type of support or knowledge. I only recommend coming here if you are financially prepared or well acquainted with the laws here.
And to answer the question lol me as a German citizen who isn't fully white would rather immigrate to Canada than Germany because I'm so tired of this country and their stupid laws. If u don't fully understand them they'll only hurt you so watch out

Germany:-
Cannot go like processing PR in Canada. Should be through company or job seeker visa and then further to PR
Almost all big Automobile companies are in Germany , so more jobs in Engineering , Research and IT.
German language is a must , without that there is no way you land up in a job by yourself.
You are in a EU country , that makes you to visit almost 22 countries without any visa. schengen does it.
Education system is free until 18 yrs of age. You get children allowances every month around 200€ for a child.
World class public transportation , means you save lot of time in travelling. You dont need a car.
Finally It takes merely 12 to 14 hrs including transit from Frankfurt to Chennai or Bangalore. You ticket cost just 70 K INR , if you plan your in advance you get it around 45 k INR up and down. I came once via Srilankan airways to India and return for just 38 k. So you can plan visiting India twice in a year. That's really required to visit your loved ones.
