As one of the greatest structures in human history, the construction of the pyramids is nothing short of incredible. How the ancients were able to build such spectacular structures without heavy machinery has always been a mystery.

There are many theories about how the Great Pyramids of Egypt were built, including ramps, cranes, and aliens. Now, archaeologists believe the Egyptians used the power of water to float huge blocks of stone hundreds of feet in the air.

The pyramid of Khufu is hundreds of meters high, and it is difficult to transport the stone by hand, with the technology at that time. Experts speculate that when the pyramid was built, it should have been connected to the canal, and the stone could have been transported from great distances by the buoyancy of the water. The ancient Egyptians also built a large number of valves, as long as there is enough water and pressure, the stone will be sent to another height. Therefore, the ancient Egyptians built a large number of waterways around and inside the pyramids, which could save a lot of manpower.

Of course, in order to successfully transport boulders, there will be many problems only relying on the buoyancy of water, so the ancient Egyptians tied sheep skins on the boulders, and the sheep skins were filled with air, which could become natural rafts. In addition, the ancient Egyptians also used a plant called papyrus to make rope. Some experts have also found some convex places on the huge stones of the pyramid, where the convex part is likely to be deliberately left by the ancient Egyptians, in order to facilitate the fixation of ropes.

But the ancient Egyptians built the pyramids in the desert far from the main Nile stream, where the water came from, to solve the mystery, the research team used large drilling equipment deep underground, successfully extracted multiple sets of "core" samples, after careful analysis, these samples clearly contain sand and other coarse sediment, thus conclusively show that in this area, There was water activity.

This is a buried, in the Sahara Desert tributary of the Nile - "Ahramat", the length of about 60 kilometers of tributary, once flowed through the pyramid group of plateau area. The word "Ahramat" means "pyramid" in Arabic, which shows that this tributary is closely related to the pyramid group, and experts speculate that the ancient Egyptians chose to build pyramids so far away from the main stream of the Nile, it is likely because of the existence of the Ahramat tributary.

With this tributary as a water source, the ancient Egyptians could settle in the desert for a long time, and use it to transport building materials, and finally complete the construction of the pyramids, the Akramat tributary is an important basis for the extension and development of ancient Egyptian civilization in the western desert.

By your admission, he said that he is a journalist.
I cannot ever remember him claiming to be either a scientist or archeologist..
In fact, he did the exact opposite. HE ALWAYS CHALLENGED the scientific orthodoxy.

Hence, your accusations are still misleading and false.
I suspect some kind of underlying jealousy, because of the attention he got.

@oftin_wong
@danechristmas6570
Not at all jealousy .. science isn't about emotions.
What Hancock did was try and create a niche for himself by describing archaeology as "mainstream archaeology" and science as "mainstream science" ..when it's simply archaeology and science, this ploy was to attempt to create an "alternate archaeology" category, Hancock has never turned over a shovel full of soil in his life
His focus is on making money from gullible people who don't want to put in the hard work reading science and archaeology journals and who opt for sensational and speculative videos because it's easier ...it's pure entertainment and you just fell for it.
That's all.

@ScottMickelsen-gn9uc
HHow long did it take to float stone into place? The Great Pyramid was built using 2.3 million 2.5 ton cut stones. After you cut and transport those stones you need to install those stones. While constructing with those stones the shafts, chambers and sarcophagus need to be installed too. Then the interior painting, carving hieroglyphs and finishing using whatever light sources. Additionally outside was finished with polished marble. That's a lot of work to do in twenty years. I know they are theorizing the stepped pyramid but it should relate to the later pyramids.

That theory has been 'floating' around for years, even well before a 'common' Egyptian explained it to me back in the early 2000s. It makes sense. The pyramids are close to the Nile and they were a lot closer to when they were built. It only stands to reason the builders used buoyancy to facilitate the stones relocation and placement.

Regular people carried clay and sand on site then baked them into those blocks.
Anywhere so many stones were taken from would have left evidence of a quarry.

Aliens sounds a lot more plausible.

People overthink too much, the Egyptians used dirt to build all the way to the top when they were finished building the pyramid they took the dirt away.

They were clearly more intelligent than us. The buildings built today don’t last long, so something extraordinary happened.
