I got into the habit of driving my truck near to downtown parking in a non paying area then taking my swift out of the back and cycling throughout the downtown area to various shops to complete tasks. never bought an electric bike yet as do prefer to use my muscles while I have them. great review of a cool and inexpensive bike.

Honestly if you go into the settings and limit the top speed and if possible disable the throttle this would be a nice first ebike for a child to be able to ride

I'm only 5'7" also ! I bought the 250W DYU D3F mini folding e-Bike as an experiment/joke. 250W and 25km/h are the legal limits here in Europe. I just pop 1.5km. to the café-bar for morning coffee on it. I have 3 full-size e-Bikes and an e-Scooter too. That little yellow treat is really great value with a large battery, suspension, torque sensor, hydraulic brakes and a colour screen, what an awesome package. Theme song is fire !

At the end technically that freedare bike bike for the give away is technically not road legal in Canada as here we are limited to a max motor wattage of 500w and a max motor assist speed of 32kph (20mph). Thankfully I got my own ebike and I have really been enjoying that.

Perfect last mile to put in the trunk of a car. Maybe park a couple miles from your destination and not have to be worried about it being stolen when locked up.

It's not too big or heavy (41lbs) for me to handle lifting into the back of my Ford Escape, and certainly, the price tag is great. Do you have any idea how much a mobility scooter costs? A lot.

I really like that little yellow Mihogo, I have an Lectric Premium, but it is so heavy I can't pick it up to put on a bike rack to take it anywhere. It is also in my opinion has horrible ergonomics, for 5 to 10 miles how would you rate the Mihogo?

If you seemingly can carry a box that big on the Rear could you mount a Carrying Box/unit of some type to the rear to Carry a small dog in it - say to the supermarket - When you go shopping and just con the staff that it is a NEW AGE old age 'mobility scooter' and take it right into the store - dog and all.

i just view these things as overgrown e-scooters, and as that they seem perfectly fine if maybe a bit too small. Like it kinda just looks like a kid's bike, if they could make them more of a mini-version of the "standard" folding e-bike design i think people would be much more positive about them.

if i was left than less than 30%, i wouldn't even want to take it out, too risky and my fat ass don't want to paddle the damn thing back home.

No, 16Ah is NOT "more battery than most full-size average ebikes." As headmaster of eBikey Skool oughtn't ya be watchin' the market? I can't find many "full-size" ebikes under 20Ah and that's the LOW END of what's out there. Getting specific, MEAN "average" is probably more like high-20s and MEDIAN "average" might be low 20s (because so much cheap stuff out there).

Higher voltage bikes tend to go faster and get ridden at much higher speeds. I'm going to bet that amp hours correlates better to range than watt hours - you simply go slower on lower voltage bikes and faster on higher voltage bikes.

My problem is I live in Northern Nevada and we have lots of mountains where the elevations can change by thousands of feet. Because of my health I will need a 3 wheeler, but each manufacturer don't think their trikes will have much range. Or the price is to high to afford on a fixed income
